Life’s a carnival with Rio   Hi everyone, I’m Rio (aka Oreo). I’m a 1-year-old male Pointer mix, weighing in at about 40 pounds of pure fun and joy. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and heartworm negative. I get along great with other dogs, I’m calm and respectful with cats, and I’m totally friendly with farm animals like cows, goats, horses, and even chickens. I also love kids, especially the ones who like to play and share snacks. I’m still a puppy at heart and probably one of the goofiest dogs you’ll ever meet. My silly facial expressions and playful personality will make you smile every single day. I’m full of energy, but I also love attention and being near my people. I walk pretty well on a leash and I know how to sit. I’m very food motivated, which makes me a fast learner. Training with me will be fun because I love working for treats. Goofy, Crate-Trained 10mo Pointer/GSP Mix! Location Update: We are 29 Palms residents, but currently staying in Santa Clarita to help a family member recover from surgery. Because we are out of town, we will start with a Phone/Video chat. I am happy to drive Domino home to 29 Palms on a weekend for a confirmed adoption (we bring him to you!), but we cannot make the long drive solely for a casual meet-and-greet. Meet the "Class Clown": Domino (10mo, ~60lbs) is pure joy. If you want a dog who makes you laugh, this is him. He is a clumsy, happy goofball who trips over his own paws and loves belly rubs. Crate Trained: Sleeps quietly through the night. A huge bonus for a 10-month-old! Dog Friendly: He loves other dogs! Fostered with small dogs and is sweet and playful. Personality: Mom was a GSP; Dad was a mystery. The result is 100% fun. Stats: Neutered, Vaccinated, Chipped. Untested w/ kids or cats. Needs leash practice (he gets excited!). Ready for a laugh?
