Story
Nellie is 7 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is a very quiet, undemanding girl who just likes to lounge around and hang out with you. She follows you like a shadow and loves being in your company. She's shy around strangers. especially men, but is quick to become friends with anyone if they're holding a treat. She is the kind of dog that would prefer a one-person home. Someone who is looking for a low maintenence companion that loves attention, walks, and can do just fine when you need to go about your day. She needs a home with NO KIDS. She's good with other older and mature dogs but would be happiest as the only dog. With all that said, she is very sweet and loving. She'll put her head in your lap and look at you with the most adoring eyes. She is 100% house trained, she rides well in the car, and likes walks. She's a hidden gem for sure!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Evie and her 3 sisters were living in horrible situation in Barstow Ca, their owner was feeding them just bread and milk poor babies were starving. They were on their way to a high kill shelter so we intervened and picked them up right away. Evie and her sisters are in a foster home eating good food and playing and running around with their toys.. Evie is the sweetest and just love to give kisses She is so gentle, calm and not nippy like some puppies are. She is truly grateful for being saved, she literally kiss my hand every time I go to pet her. Oh i just love her and shes so intelligent so training will be a breeze. Evie is being potty trained and doing really good, she flies out the doggie door like a champ. she's still a baby so continuous obedience training will make her a very well rounder pup. Evie, has been examined by a vet and is in good health, she received her 1st set if puppy vaccines and dewormed so far. We will continue her vetting until spayed. If you live in LA, San Diego County or surrounding areas have a home with a yard and a secured fence and would love adopt Evie, then please complete our adoption application at tlck9rescue.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 24, 2024, 6:10 pm
