My name is Kodiak, I came from a feral colony of dogs in Rural Ga. I am very sweet, can be shy with new people at first; it doesn’t take me long to come around to kind people. I will need someone patient and caring to help me become more confident! Older children in a possible forever home should be fine for me since they aren’t usually as loud and rambunctious as younger children. I don’t want to be scared in my new home. She may feel a little nervous in new or busy environments (and cars aren’t quite her thing), but with patience and reassurance, she slowly builds more confidence. Zoomie loves peaceful neighborhood sniff walks, cozy blankets, soft toys, and soaking up affection from her favorite people. She’s dog friendly and enjoys playtime with other pups, and while she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, she warms up with gentle introductions. Zoomie has recently had some medical concerns and will need a calm home to support her healing, but she’ll reward you with endless love and loyal companionship.
