ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.

My name is Kodiak, I came from a feral colony of dogs in Rural Ga. I am very sweet, can be shy with new people at first; it doesn’t take me long to come around to kind people. I will need someone patient and caring to help me become more confident! Older children in a possible forever home should be fine for me since they aren’t usually as loud and rambunctious as younger children. I don’t want to be scared in my new home. I am very calm, quiet, and just want attention, love, and a kind hand. If you think that you can provide that for me please apply for me!
