Story
Doctor Dots came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 01/01/23 and he currently weighs 53#  This guy has lots of energy. Ideally he goes with someone who wants to exercise him. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm negative. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Story
Maverick is 3 years old and weighs about 80 pounds. He closely resembles an English Pointer. He adores affection, especially belly rubs, he knows sit and shake commands, and he has mastered waiting in his crate until his meal is served across the room and he hears the ‘come’ command. Maverick is delighted to take his morning walk, the faster and longer the better, and he does well with a front clasp harness. His potty habits are quite reliable and he does well without crating during his foster mom’s work hours. Because he is a young, sizable, and exuberant dog, Mav will benefit from plenty of yard time and at least one good walk each day. Because of the particular mix of fosters in his current home, he has not been able to develop his social skills with other dogs and would need assistance with that if his future home has another dog, but he would be fine as an only dog. No cats, though. He does not attend Saturday events at Petsmart, but he can meet people who have filled out an adoption by appointment.     If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Clicking the "Ask About" button does not submit an application. It only submits a question which will delay an application submission.    All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative (age 7 months and older) and microchipped. We do not ship or transport. A dog's adoption donation is $200. There is a $5 fee for credit/debit cards.
