Story
✅next Chicago transport is mid April! DOBBIE!!! The best way to understand this quirky little guy is to Google search Dobbie from Harry Potter. My son named him and it's THE PERFECT FIT for him and he knows his name! He's wildly entertaining, flits through the house like a hummingbird. His only bad habit is that he's a counter surfer but he's so cute when he does it that he rarely gets in trouble and he's never actually gotten anything. I think he's just curious what's up there. To live this guy you have to know his backstory . We pulled his sister from a rural shelter and she was very well socialized and got adopted within two weeks. The Director of the Shelter reached out and said you know we have his brother? I said no. In comes Dobbie and he is nothing like his sister. Human touch was like nails on a chalkboard for him, he had no idea what a leash was, and he was petrified of all humans. Fast forward four months. He is a perfect gentleman on leash, he loves attending doggy daycare, he is perfectly house trained, he doesn't love the kennel, but he will sleep in his little dog bed right next to his people. and he SEEKS OUT human affection! It has been the most beautiful and rewarding transformation, and he is little nub tail never stops wagging. He becomes very attached to his humans these days. He loves other dogs, and he loves to run and play in the yard. If you couldn't tell by now, he is my Foster and he's with me in Memphis, Tennessee. Once adopted, he will travel on rescue vet transport to his new forever family. They travel each weekend to the northeast, leaving Memphis, Tennessee Friday mornings around 6 AM and making delivery stops along the way all the way up to West Greenwich, Rhode Island. if you would like to make Dobbie a part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Also, please note, he is listed as a small dog because he is right at 30 pounds, he's tall and very thin and petite in nature. Transport is an additional $185. PS that last photo was taken through a window, so although he looks dirty, he is jet black, and that was the best picture capturing his ears. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Hi, my name is Scooter! There are a few things I absolutely love; playing with balls (any ball [basketballs, footballs, tennis balls, etc]), spending time with my people, going on adventures, and training! I didn't have the ideal early puppyhood experience. I was very underweight and scared when I was brought into the system. It took months for me to get to my ideal weight all while getting older and never experiencing a normal life. The majority of my exposure to the world has been in the shelter system. I have been on walks and hikes with one of the volunteers. She is helping me work on skills and my confidence when in the real world. The other volunteers are helping me with being able to handle the kennel life. I love when they get me out to play and run around with me!I would highly benefit from continuing with reward-based training. I've been introduced to clicker training and I think it's fun! I catch onto things very quickly and enjoy learning. Once my needs have been met, I am content on laying on my bed and chewing on bones. My dream home is where my mental and physical needs can be met via bonding, playing, chewing on toys, adventures, and training. I really need someone who can be patient and continue helping me learn how to cope with the real world. I would benefit from a home where there are no other dogs or cats in the home and limited foot traffic. I need time to decompress and learn a new routine and how it is to be in a home setting. I really can't wait to call a home mine and make memories with my forever family. I can't wait to meet you!Born 04/01/2022- adoption fee $250- medium sized at 35lbs- no dogs - no cats- would benefit from a fenced in yardFill out an application at all4animalsrescue.org  ##1624773##
