This sweet girl came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. Unfortunately, she is not thriving in the shelter environment and would do best in a home where she can have plenty of space, enrichment, and activity. She is a smart girl who knows tricks and absolutely loves toys! She would thrive with an adopter who enjoys keeping their dog busy and engaged. A home with acreage would be ideal, but an active household that can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and one-on-one time could also be a great fit. Because she is struggling in the shelter, she may experience anxiety in certain situations and will need an adopter who is patient, understanding, and willing to work with her as she adjusts to a new environment. We would not recommend a crate-based home or a situation where she would need to spend significant amounts of time confined to a crate. She has so much potential and would benefit from someone willing to give her the time, structure, enrichment, and patience she needs to feel secure.
