Ruby's story began on the side of a major highway in Mt. Hermon, Louisiana. She was one of three frightened puppies dumped and left to fend for themselves. I personally rescued Ruby from that road. Her two siblings have already found loving homes, but Ruby is still waiting. Now going on six months in our shelter, Ruby remains a happy, energetic puppy with a heart full of love and a zest for life. She loves to run, play, and explore. She would thrive with an active family, especially one with older children who can keep up with her playful spirit. Ruby survived being abandoned. Now she just needs someone to choose her. Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful girl. She has waited long enough

Case #60900133. Phillip was born 7/30/25 Phillip came to us as a transfer from another shelter. This handsome boy is stunning with the prettiest eyes and markings! He's very nose oriented, he loves a good sniff! He's also athletic and smart. He'd likely be an excellent agility dog if you were interested in that. Come visit Phillip today, he's waiting for that special someone. This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00 cash or check only.

Daisy is a 4-year-old springer (or maybe pointer) mix. She is house and crate trained. 4 years ago, baby Daisy was saved in the parking lot of a high kill shelter in Louisiana. She has been living the good life ever since. Her owner was recently diagnosed with a life changing disease and has moved out of state to live with family during treatment. Sadly, she is no longer able to care for Daisy. Daisy is looking for a new family to call her own. She weighs 45 pounds and has lots of adorable speckles and spots. Her tail is docked. She is dog and cat friendly and never meets a stranger. She can walk on a leash. She loves to run and play outside. She rides well in the car. She has not been around small children but does fine with older children. She knows basic command like sit and down and has been a wonderful companion for her elderly owner. She is a lovely girl! Daisy is current on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

He’s a very loving, cuddly, and energetic dog who thrives with attention and affection. He loves being outside, playing, and spending time with his people. He can be a little shy or cautious at first and may need a minute to warm up to new people, but treats definitely help win him over quickly. I’ve raised him since he was 2 months after adopting him from a shelter, and he’s been a huge part of my life. He would do best with an owner who can give him patience, consistency, and a little guidance while continuing to give him the love and care he deserves.
