Story
If you're looking for a new best friend, Smokey is a little lovebug with a huge personality! He's a gentle pup who enjoys eating, playing, and relaxing with the people he loves, but he's happy to meet just about everyone who walks his way! He is crate-trained, potty-trained, walks well on a leash, knows how to "sit," and plays very well with other dogs. He is curious and smart, so learning new commands is no problem for him as long as you have a treat in hand! After a long walk, you can find Smokey snuggling up against his favorite toys or inching his snout closer and closer to the nearest friend. Smokey would be happiest in a home with plenty of love and affection that can give him the space he needs to run around. He'd fit right in with any other pets and make an excellent housemate for any family size. Fill out an application today to take Smokey home! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you)  To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. Story
Goldie is a sweet and shy mom. One day, she just showed up outside her finder's house (we believed that she was abandoned because she was pregnant). A few weeks after her finder (who is Goldie's foster mom now) took her into her care, mama Goldie had four puppies who are also Sandy Paws dogs. Goldie is a chill dog. Most of the time, she just likes to lay on any soft bed and stares at her human. She is potty and crate-trained. This is what her foster mom says about Goldie: "adventurous, sweet, loving, playful, and goofy at times, craves affection, loves belly rubs, is energetic, gets along with large and small dogs." We don't know how she behaves with cats but the plan is to cat-test her soon. There are no children in her current foster home but we will kid-test Goldie soon as well.  Goldie is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). Story
Meet Hunny Bunny. She is the absolutely sweetest, smartest girl you have ever met. Hunny was found in the woods near a hunting lodge in the rural town of Prescott. The care taker goes to the lodge every weekend to do maintenance. Two weeks ago she wandered into camp looking for food and water. The maintenance man was very, very worried because he heard coyotes. This is when he contacted a Carlton Rescue - Operation Puppy Love 501c3 . And of course we said yes. She has had very little human contact. She was eating June bugs (while in foster with Elaine & Steve for a couple days, evidence appeared). Smart girl, very nutritional. We are teaching her crate training, come when called, being held is wonderful, car rides are fun. She has mastered the doggy door for the first time following Schultzie. Her fur feels soft like a Great Pyrenees. She has spots like a Pointer. All we do know for sure is absolutely adorable! Her front paws are big, but she is growing into them. So sweet. All she wants to do is to be with you or be able to see you. She is dog social, does not care if the lawn mower is going. Very food motivated. We are feeding 2x daily. In a couple of weeks she will be ready to head to her new home. Loyal, sweet, smart, laid back. If you would like to adopt, please message me and I will send an application. If you would like to sponsor to help with her care: wormer, skin medicine (hot spots, poor nutrition), shampoo, food, etc cashapp $carlrescue, venmo @carla-carlton-1, Zelle 501-247-4186, PayPal glennandcarla@g5i.net.
