He is a medium energy guy who loves running around a yard, going for walks, and then relaxing on the couch or curling up in his bed after a fun day. He is ready for a family of his own to love and call home.Otis loves playing with his foster siblings and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He would do great with or without a canine companion. Story
Meet Sherman! 🐾💙 Sherman is a sweet, friendly guy with a fun-loving personality! He loves spending time with people and has done well with other dogs. He's playful and energetic when it's time for fun, but once he gets his playful side out, Sherman is actually a pretty lazy guy! He loves a good nap and is always happy to settle in for some snuggle time with his people. Sherman recently settled into a new foster home and is doing great! His foster family is getting to know him more each day, and he's showing them what a wonderful mix of playful, affectionate, and laid-back he can be. Sherman is also suspected to have an old injury to his right knee, likely a previous CCL tear that has since healed. At this time, surgery is not recommended. His knee will be managed with joint supplements and, if needed, pain medication to help keep him comfortable. Sherman can't wait to find a family of his own to play, nap, and snuggle with. Start the process to meet him today! 💙

Meet Bluey! Adoption Fee: $449 Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a calm, loving personality, Bluey is your guy. At about 4.5 years old and 90 pounds, this handsome boy is the definition of a gentle giant. He's affectionate, easygoing, and happiest when he's surrounded by the people he loves. Bluey has wonderful house manners and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He loves children, is great with other dogs, does well with cats, and has the kind of sweet, gentle temperament that makes everyone fall in love with him. Whether he's enjoying playtime in the yard, going for a walk, or simply relaxing beside you, Bluey is just happy to be included. He's a joyful, loving dog who is ready to be a devoted member of a family. Bluey's journey to rescue is one well never forget. For years, Bluey lived alone in a small outdoor shed through the scorching summer heat and freezing winter cold. One of our rescue volunteers couldn't bear to see him living that way. She pleaded with his owner to let him go, even offering to buy him. She contacted Animal Control, brought him gifts, and refused to give up hope. After countless attempts, the owner finally agreed, and Bluey was set free. Today, Bluey is thriving in the very foster home of the woman who never stopped fighting for him. She's watched him blossom into the happy, confident dog he was always meant to be, and now it's time for Bluey to find the forever family he's waited so long to have. After everything he's endured, Bluey deserves a lifetime of love, soft beds, belly rubs, and people who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. If you're ready to welcome this incredible boy into your heart and home, submit your adoption application today. Bluey has waited long enough for his happily ever after—now all he needs is you. Here's the adoption application, please copy & paste. https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts local and in the New England area. Story
🐾 URGENT: Addie Needs a Home 🐾 8 Years Old • Spayed • Dog, Cat & Kid Friendly Addie is losing the only place she has to stay. The kind person who took her in can no longer keep her, and time is running out for this sweet girl to find a safe place to call home. Despite everything she’s facing, Addie hasn’t lost her loving spirit. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has the kind of calm, loyal personality that only comes with maturity. She loves people, gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children, and is happiest simply being close to the ones she loves. At 8 years old, Addie isn’t looking for adventure—she’s looking for security, comfort, and a family to love with her whole heart. She deserves so much more than uncertainty after being such a wonderful companion. Please don’t let her age cause you to scroll past. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Addie is proof of that. She deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and the chance to spend her golden years surrounded by kindness. Addie urgently needs a hero. Please open your heart and your home before she has nowhere left to go. PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152
