Amiga is a sweet, calm 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 7 pounds, but this tiny girl has a heart full of love and a story of incredible resilience. ❤️
Originally from Mexico, Amiga has overcome so much already. When she was found, she was suffering from severe anemia and two different tick-borne diseases. Today, she’s embracing life with a beautiful spirit, and it’s hard not to smile watching her discover all the good things the world has to offer. She truly deserves a lifetime of love, comfort, and happiness!
Amiga is sweet, respectful, playful, and curious about the world around her. She absolutely loves playing with her friend Mila, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s also great with kids and has shown curiosity about the resident cat. And if you have treats, you’re already on your way to winning her heart! This smart little girl is very treat-motivated and eager to learn.
Amiga is still working on her house training, but she’s a fast learner and making great progress. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to blossom into the wonderful companion she’s meant to be.
After everything she’s been through, Amiga deserves a family who will cherish her, keep her safe, and show her that the hard days are behind her. She would love to be adopted with her sister, Mila, if possible, but she can also thrive in a loving home of her own.
