Story
🌺 Hi, I’m Bali! 🌺I’m a 1.5-year-old, 51-pound sweetheart looking for my forever family — and I have a few things I think you should know about me:🐾 Professional cuddler — I may be 51 pounds, but I’m 100% convinced I’m a lap dog. If there’s a cozy spot next to you, I’m ready to fill it!🐾 Friend to everyone — I came to the rescue as a stray, but you’d never know it. I’m all about making new friends (especially the furry kind!).🐾 Dog-loving girlie — I absolutely adore other pups and get so excited when I meet a new four-legged buddy. I’ve even helped welcome new dogs at the rescue in Alabama! (Cats and I haven’t met yet.)🐾 Smart cookie — I’m learning the ropes and doing great! I’m making progress with crate training, seemingly house-trained, and I’m picking up commands quickly. 🐾 Treats = my love language — I’m food-motivated, eager to please, and ready to show off my new skills.🐾 Future adventure buddy — I’m still learning about this leash thing, but I’m already doing great! I don’t pull, and I think walks and exploring are pretty amazing. My stray days are behind me, and I’m ready for my best chapter yet — a home where I can be loved, spoiled, and reminded every day that I belong. 💕Could I be your new best friend? 🐶***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Bali is heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. It is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result and a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. During treatment, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test and is cleared by a veterinarian. Bali will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Bali, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Trinity is a happy, fun-loving one-year-old who brings play and affection wherever she goes! Friendly, social, and outgoing, she loves being part of the action and is always curious about what’s going on around her. Trinity is a smart girl who already knows her basic commands and is eager to keep learning skills and tricks. This playful pup absolutely loves toys, especially balls of any size. Trinity could happily chase and return them all day long! Whether she’s exploring outside, sniffing around on an adventure, or entertaining herself with a favorite chew toy or bone, Trinity knows how to have a good time. Inside the home, Trinity is just as sweet as she is playful. She loves being by your side, happily following you from room to room, and when it’s time to relax, she’ll gently bury her nose in your lap and snuggle up close. She’s affectionate, enjoys being petted, and truly thrives on companionship. Trinity is still working on her leash skills and can get excited and vocal when she sees other dogs, but she’s a very smart girl who is learning and improving every day. With patience and continued guidance, she has all the potential to become a well-mannered walking buddy. Trinity currently lives with another playful dog and they have a blast! If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion who will keep you smiling and snuggled, Trinity might just be your perfect match! Story
Hi! My name is Queso, and I am from Georgia! Queso is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl with a tender heart who’s still learning that the world can be a safe place. She may be shy at first, but there’s a soft, affectionate side of her just waiting to shine. Her kennel is her comfort zone, but she’s starting to explore more and build confidence at her own pace. When she feels safe, Queso will greet you with a wagging tail and happily roll over for gentle belly rubs. She loves affection—it just takes a little time for her to fully relax and trust. Queso also has a playful side that comes out when she feels comfortable, and she has shown interest in playing with other dogs. A calm, confident canine companion could help her continue to grow. She’ll do best in a quiet, patient home where she can build trust and confidence over time. With love and reassurance, Queso will blossom into a deeply loyal, affectionate companion.

Hi! My name is Taco, and I am from Georgia! Taco is an incredibly sweet, gentle dog with a soft heart who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Each day, he’s gaining a little more confidence and showing just how loving he really is. While his kennel is still his safe space, Taco truly enjoys quiet companionship and has started to seek out affection—he absolutely melts for belly rubs. Once he feels comfortable, he’s happiest curled up next to you for a cozy, relaxing evening. He’s also a little quirky in the best way, often climbing to higher spots just to stay close and keep an eye on his people. Taco is friendly and has shown a sweet interest in playing with other dogs, especially calm, confident companions who can help him come out of his shell. He’ll do best in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace. With time and love, Taco will blossom into a deeply loyal and affectionate companion.

A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by The Wilbur Fund. The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $400.00 will be applied during the contract process. I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can say YES to fostering this animal! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi, my name is Marmalade. I am from Georgia. From her foster: Meet Marmalade: The "Most Fun" Georgia Peach! Marmalade is a perfect mix of gentle soul and mischievous playmate. She’s handled raising puppies and moving from Georgia with total grace. Highlights: Pro Cuddler: She takes bedtime seriously and loves sleeping through the night right next to you. Learning to Dog: She’s discovering toys and LOVES chewing on bones. She’s a great sharer with no resource guarding! Polite Houseguest: She takes meds easily and has amazing bladder control. She’s a pro with potty pads while she learns to go on a leash. Gentle Soul: An impressive girl who loves her inner circle. Once she feels safe, her "resourceful mama" energy shines. On the Go: She’s a great car rider and a gentle leash walker! "Spa days:" Marmalade is being treated for non-contagious heartworm. She’s looking for a "chill" home for a few months of recovery snuggles. From the Vet: During my time with The Bond Between - I was treated for heartworm disease and have completed that in its entirety!! Hooray!! This means I can finally be the active dog I was meant to be! TBB recommends starting annual rechecks for heartworm 9 months post treatment (December 2026) and keeping me on monthly heartworm prevention meds to protect me for all my years to come!
