Story
Stevie was adopted from KCPP in 2021. She is a great dog but has recently become unpredictable around the cats in the house and the other family dog. When it comes to dogs, she can be very aggressive and protective of food, toys and treats. With cats, she chases them, but we genuinely think she wants to play with them but they are afraid of her given her size. We think she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. She doesn’t realize she weighs 70lbs and thinks she is a lap dog, but she is very sweet, downright goofy, and loves her people. She’s been around kids 10+ and did great, but smaller kids could easily be knocked over when she gets playful. She has allergies to a lot of food, but it’s managed by a daily dose of Benadryl. She gets the zoomies, so a backyard or a family with outdoor space would be ideal. She is crate trained and house trained, but she sleeps in her crate at night, with no issues.

Story
Hi, I'm Oliver. My buddy Olivia (dog804) and I ended up at M'Shoogys after the sheriff called about two dogs running loose along the highway, we'd been dumped. It's something that happens way too often unfortunately. I don't understand how someone could have abandoned us. We're good dogs that just want to be loved. I'm a little shy but, can you blame me? Trust isn't immediate, but it doesn't take too long for me to warm up. All I need is a chance. Will you give me a chance?

Story
Ranger is a Pudelpointer, and he is 3 years old! He is technically hypoallergenic, though he does shed. As long as he’s brushed once a week, the house stays clean! His only grooming requirements are brushing and nails. Ranger is sweet and affectionate. He is a very low maintenance dog. He would be great for any type of family. A fenced in yard to play fetch is great! It's important to us that you are located within 1.5 hours of Hamilton, MO so that we can meet and transition him in the least traumatic way as possible. Ranger is amazing with kids and other dogs. Our preference is that he goes to a home with a family another dog. He's weary of strangers, but once he warms up to you he's your friend for life. He’s never bitten anyone or any other dog, he has never shown aggression in any way, and he is the sweetest and best dog anyone could wish for. We just had a baby and my husband’s job is hectic, so we’re trying to find a home with more time for Ranger than we’re able to give.
