Story
Meet Winter & Duncan 🐾 Born around July 21, 2026, Winter and Duncan are two incredibly affectionate, gentle puppies who have been raised with nothing but love, kindness, kisses, and plenty of cuddles in their foster home. These babies are expected to grow into BIG dogs! They already have huge paws and are likely to be quite substantial when fully grown. Their dad is a purebred black German Shepherd, and they appear to have some bird-dog in their mix as well, with their adorable floppy ears and lots of speckles. ❄️ Winter Winter is a tiny, very chill and reserved little runt. She’s extremely shy at first and takes a little while to feel comfortable enough to play with her siblings. Once she warms up, though, her personality comes shining through — she turns into a hilarious little turd who absolutely loves attention, cuddles, and being held. She can be timid in new situations, but with patience and reassurance she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate little cuddlebug. 🖤 Duncan Chunky Dunky Duncan is the fat boy of the pair! He loves being first at absolutely everything and has a wonderfully brave, confident personality. He’s smart, determined, and definitely a little hardheaded — he knows what he wants! He’s also an enormous cuddlebug once he gets sleepy and would happily curl up with his people. And yes… Duncan has fat rolls. 😂 ❤️ Total Velcro Babies Both puppies are extremely people-oriented and affectionate. They love all people and want to be wherever their humans are. They’ll sleep on you, beside you, at your feet — basically anywhere they can be close to you. They are the ultimate little Velcro puppies and would much rather lie next to their foster mum and watch what she’s doing than be off by themselves. Their foster says they are some of the most relaxed and chill puppies she has ever had. They have full run of the house and spend their days playing with their toys, exploring, then settling down for cuddles and kisses. They even have their own room filled with toys, and they absolutely love to play! 🐱 Great With Cats Winter and Duncan are being raised alongside 11 cats and couldn't care less about them. They don't chase or bother the cats — at most, they'll wander over for a curious little sniff before carrying on with their day. 🐶 Learning About Other Dogs They have been a little timid around other dogs, especially because the older dogs in their foster home weren't particularly interested in playing with them. Recently, they've started gaining confidence and have been happily interacting with their foster's Great Pyrenees. They love lying on her, chewing on her, and playing around her. 💦 WATER BABIES! These two absolutely LOVE water! Give them a hose and they'll happily bite at the water, splash around, and play in a little pool of water and mud. They're going to have so much fun with an adventurous family! 📏 Future Size They are still very young — only around 7 weeks old — so their adult size is still an estimate. • Duncan: already at least around 8–10 lbs and likely to be a big boy • Winter: around 5 lbs or possibly less • Both have huge paws and are expected to grow into large dogs • These aren't going to be tiny lapdogs — they're likely to be big, beautiful dogs with big personalities and even bigger hearts. Winter and Duncan have known nothing but love, kindness, cuddles, and kisses in their foster home. They are playful, affectionate, people-loving, sleepy little cuddlebugs who simply want to be near their humans. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will follow you around the house, sleep at your feet, and happily climb into your lap for cuddles, Winter or Duncan may be your perfect match. ❤️🐾 **They do not have to be adopted together** Duncan and Winter are current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Story
Peggy is a petite girl weighing a whopping 25 lbs! She is approximately 11 months old. This gentle girl absolutely loves other dogs; big and small. She is currently being fostered in a sanctuary in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. This amazing sanctuary is only a short term stop for this fur-baby until their forever home is found. Peggy was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12+ other dogs. She was fending for herself, finding food, water and shelter where and when she could. Peggy was the smallest of the bunch, so she was probably picked on a lot more than the other doggies. Her siblings are Hulk, Nebula, Wanda, Thor and Black Widow, who are also available for adoption! She is much calmer than the other dogs at the sanctuary. Peggy likes to play, but she also likes to just sit back and watch everyone else cause trouble. She will run along side of them, with sometimes joining in the rough housing. She likes to ref the other dogs by barking at them playing. Peggy would be great for a calmer household – play in the backyard with another dog and her toys. She is working on her leash training – she is crate trained. Peggy loves playing in the water and laying in the kiddy pool, cooling off. If you want a smaller doggy to stay by your side, to cuddle with and to enjoy the nice days outside – Peggy is a wonderful choice. Peggy is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.
