This handsome man is Boe. Don`t let his age fool you. He is still full of life and looking for his retirement home. He was surrendered due to no fault of his own, his previous family just could no longer care for him. He loves to be outside on walks and enjoys the nice weather. He does well for his baths and loves treats! He knows how to sit like a gentleman, and very much enjoys bum scratches. After walks and play time he would love to have a nice nap on a comfy bed with his family. We think he would do well in a home with some dogos around his age that aren`t too spunky, and maybe some older kiddos that he can play with. Vera is the definition of a gentle soul. She carries a calm, steady presence and a softness that you feel the moment you meet her. A more rural setting would be her dream — somewhere quiet where she can walk without too much commotion. She walks beautifully on leash in calm areas and absolutely loves being outside, soaking in the fresh air. She prefers dogs her own size and would truly benefit from having another steady, laid back dog in the home to help her continue building trust. She is ultimately submissive and very respectful with other dogs. Due to some prey drive, she is not suited for a home with small animals. Vera’s stunning white and silver coat, accented with soft gray ears and delicate spots, matches her personality — understated, elegant, and quietly beautiful. She is both house trained and crate trained, and she appreciates the security of her own quiet space to enjoy high value treats like special bones. Vera does prefer to eat alone so she doesn’t have to worry, and she thrives in a peaceful home environment. She isn’t the loudest dog in the room. She won’t demand the spotlight. Incredibly Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl.
