A piece of the sun. That's all Korben wants. He holds true to black dogs always seeking the sun, no matter the temperature.Korben waits for you to clean his outside bed and then he jumps on it, moves all of his blankets around, wiggles around on his back and soaks up every ray of sunshine. He makes it look so appealing. You find yourself wondering if you would look silly doing the same thing.Korben finds such peace in doing this. The world is moving all around him but he can fall fast asleep in the sun. Imagine if it were that easy for the rest us.Korben is 6-years-old and was an owner surrender to PRAS. We scooped him up because we felt certain we could find him the most awesome family. For 6 years, he had all the things - his own bed, all the toys, treats galore and his own people. And now we need to find him his new people - ones who want to help him live his last years as his best years.Korben had some skin issues because of fleas but now his coat is one of the shiniest and most glowing ones around.Korben loves people, toys and food - in that order. He will bark until he sees that you are coming for him and then he dances with joy.Please help us find Korben his new people who will show him his best years. He, like all of our dogs, deserves to live each of his days soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace that shines down on him.Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton. Story
Freckles came to us with a super unfortunate story. She was surrendered to Westmoreland County shelter at 3 months old where she sat until she came to us at around 7 months old. She has essentially lived almost her entire life in a shelter. She is playful, and so intelligent. She is a little mouthy, and jumpy, but we are working on it. Puppies will be puppies. She loves walks and laying at your feet. She is a gorgeous girl who just needs a person to give her a chance to blossom. She knows Sit, Lay Down, Place, Touch, and Watch Me. She is loves to learn!

I love cuddling and I’m super loyal. I’m not shy with people but new things can be a bit scary at first. I love small spaces and would probably love my own crate. I'm the sweetest friend you'll ever have. I'm very friendly and have a submissive nature, so I'll always let you take the lead! I'm looking for someone who loves quiet evenings and doesn't mind giving me a little time to become familiar with my surroundings. Adopting me means gaining a forever friend who will always be there to cheer you up and cuddle away your worries.

Story
SUNNY Sunny is a beautiful handsome sweet gentle but strong and energetic Lemon and White Hound possibly Pointer mix boy. He was found by a neighbor January 2023 in pitiful shape. Bloody, wounded, skeletal - so weak, starved and exhausted he could barely stand. But his beautiful spirit was quickly restored with food and vetting and love. He has been treated for Heartworm, tickborne, and he has been neutered - YAY! Amazingly, he still loves people. He is dog friendly and cat friendly. He is really good on his leash. He plays with toys and enjoys his meals and treats. His teeth are extremely worn down from his harsh cruel former life. And one of his eyes was lost. But overall he is HAPPY, healthy, and enjoying life - thank goodness and knock on wood. He loves being outside in the fenced yard, and has perfect indoor manners whether crated or in his "living room." He really would make a sweet easy going companion to a nice person in need.
