LILLIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED! Lillie, weighing 25 pounds at 16 weeks of age, is a happy, low to medium active Pointer mix pup. She is a somewhat social butterfly who is more concerned about who or what is going on around her than finishing her meals at one time. Lillie loves receiving and giving affection and is good with children, other pups, and cats. She is leash-trained and is working on her crate training and would be happy being an only pup getting playtime with her furever family. She quickly learned the doggy door at her fosters home. Lillie will be fully vetted including spay, microchip, Rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. Located in South Riding, VA Meet Bubba After spending almost 10 months in the shelter, Bubba is finally getting the chance to experience life in a home — and this handsome boy is off to a wonderful start. Bubba was understandably a little nervous when he arrived, but he has settled in quickly and sleeps quietly in his crate all night. He’s also had no accidents in the house and knows to do his business outside. He’s curious about his new surroundings and enjoys getting out for walks. His leash skills need a little polishing, but he just needs practice and direction. Bubba would do best as an only dog. There’s still so much to learn about Bubba as he decompresses and discovers what life outside the shelter is all about. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.
