Meet Waylon! 🐾❤️ Waylon is an absolutely adorable 2-year-old Pointer/Hound mix with the softest, most soulful eyes and a sweet, earnest expression that melts you the moment he looks your way. He has this gentle little head tilt that makes him look like he’s truly listening to every word you say — it’s impossible not to fall for him. Waylon is a tender, humble boy who just wants to be close to his people. He’ll quietly follow you around, happy to be near you and share in whatever you’re doing. He starts off a bit shy, but once he trusts you, he opens up into the most loving, loyal little shadow. Waylon does wonderfully with kids, loves other dogs, and even does well with cats, making him an easy fit into a wide variety of homes. He’s already crate trained and picking up on new routines and commands fast — he truly wants to please. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a family who will cherish his gentle heart and lovable personality. If you’re looking for a dog who radiates sweetness and has the cutest face you’ll ever meet, Waylon is your boy. 🏡❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. AMBER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Hi I’m Amber. I am a spunky little pup that has a personality larger than life. I get so excited I just can’t contain it. I am 8 months old and weigh about 35 pounds. I bark and wiggle around and do a lot of jumping. Love to play with other pups and love to snuggle and get all the love. I am learning manners and how to be house broken. Being young it is a bit tricky but I am trying. If you try to clean I will help by standing in your way looking all kinds of cute. I have a slow feeder because I eat too fast, don’t want it to just disappear. I have a cute tail wag when you tell me I did something good. I can ride in the car well but just enjoy being around other pups and my human. I would love a home to call my own with a soft bed and toys, and plenty of treats please. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. Current Location: Strasburg, VA Hello, my name is Dottie! I'm thought to be a Pointer mix, about 2 years old and currently weigh about 40 pounds. I'm a submissive gal with a sweet temperament and do very well with the people and dogs I've met. I love, love, love to snuggle and like nothing better than to sit next to my people and get lots of attention and hugs. I'm also house trained and walk well on the leash. I just weaned my litter of pups and will be spayed on 12/1. I'm heartworm positive and will receive treatment on 12/15 and can go home with my new family in time to celebrate the new year. I am microchipped, current on my vaccines and monthly preventives, and will be spayed and have received heartworm treatment prior to adoption. This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.

I've just been weaned from mom and I'm learning to be a big boy puppy by eating on my own, using the pee pads and wrestling with my brothers and sisters. Oh yeah, and giving my foster mom and dad lots of puppy kisses. I'm microchipped and have had age appropriate vaccines, preventatives and dewormings.
