When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! We are currently open Wednesday-Thursday by appointment only (closed Tuesdays), Fri and Sat 12-5, Sun and Mon from 11-5, no appointment necessary during those hours. Hey there, I'm Bobby, and I wear my name with pride! You see, there was a time when my sister Blair and I roamed the neighborhood without an identity, just a couple of cute black and white pups searching for a place to belong. Thankfully, a kind-hearted lady spotted us and decided we deserved a chance, and she did just that - she saved us! I've got a soft spot for patience and persistence; they're qualities I admire in humans. When we first arrived at the rescue, my sister and I were a bit nervous, but we quickly settled into the routine. New doggy friends, new human friends - I've got room in my heart for them all. I'm a playful guy, always up for some fun with my buddies. As for my breed, well, I think I might be a Spaniel/Pointer mix, and my unique markings are nothing short of gorgeous. With a medium-sized frame and a head-turning presence, I'm the perfect adventure companion. But what I'm really hoping for is a new best buddy - someone named Bobby! She's looking for a home with older kids since she gets a bit too excited around little ones. She's cool with cats so if you have one or five, MILLIE won't mind. MILLIE loves walks, snuggles, and giving kisses.
