Story
Meet Archer!
Archer is a lovable, affectionate puppy with a heart as big as his personality. He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be wherever his family is. Whether he's following you around the house, exploring the yard by your side, or curling up for a nap nearby, Archer is happiest when he's with his people.
Like any young puppy, Archer is still learning the ropes. He's working hard on crate training, leash training, basic commands, and good manners. He may cry or bark for a few minutes when first settling into his crate because he'd rather be with his foster family, but he settles down quickly and does very well overnight. He sleeps quietly in his crate, has had no accidents, and typically only needs one potty break during the night.
Archer is a smart boy who is eager to learn and eager to please. He's making great progress but still has typical puppy habits like jumping, chewing, chasing things, and occasionally using his mouth during play. Because everything still seems like a toy to him, he'll need supervision and continued training as he grows.
This friendly guy loves everyone he meets, including children. He has interacted well with kids ages 2–6 and enjoys all the attention and affection they can offer.
One of Archer's favorite things in the world is giving hugs. He loves to greet people with enthusiasm, shower them with kisses, and if you'll let him, climb right into your lap for some cuddle time. His foster family says he gives some of the best hugs around and has the softest velvet ears you'll ever want to pet.
When it comes to playtime, Archer is always ready for fun. He loves stuffed animals and believes every plush toy belongs to him. Once he finds a favorite, he'll proudly carry it off to his crate where he can enjoy it in peace. He also loves sniffing around the yard, going for walks, chewing on toys, and then settling in for a well-earned nap.
Archer has a medium energy level and would thrive in a home that can provide daily exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. A yard or safe outdoor space where he can run, sniff, and explore would be a huge bonus.
With patience, consistency, and love, Archer has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion. He's affectionate, playful, curious, and eager to learn. Most of all, he's a puppy who simply wants to love and be loved and he's ready to find a family to call his own.
