Story
Nikki is a gorgeous, petite black-and-white Pointer mix who is overflowing with love! This sweet social butterfly adores people and kids and is happiest wherever her humans are. She’s fabulous on leash, calmly passing other dogs and taking in new experiences with her happy, easygoing attitude. She’s even been to the hardware store and handled it like a pro! Nikki is still working on building her confidence, and with patient, loving people by her side, we know she’ll continue to blossom. She’s gentle, affectionate, and always ready with an adorable tail wag. Medium in size but huge in heart, Nikki is ready to find her forever family and be someone’s forever sidekick!
Nikki is a 10-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Nikki is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
