*We will not be hosting adoption events on June 20. Instead, we will be offering private adoption appointments for pre-approved applicants from June 14-21. Please contact us to learn more!* Reno/Bobby is currently being fostered with the head trainer and owner of Monster Dog Training—giving him a strong foundation while in our care. If you’re looking for a trusted trainer in Northern Colorado, we highly recommend checking them out! You can learn more about their services at www.monsterdogtrainingcolorado.com. Meet Bobby! Looking for the perfect best friend? Bobby might just be your guy. At 7 years old, Bobby is a handsome Pointer/Cattle Dog mix (or at least that's our best guess!) with the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. Don't let the "senior" label fool you—this boy is healthy, active, and impressively fit for his age. He'd love to join you for a hike, a walk around the neighborhood, or any outdoor adventure you have in mind. When the day is done, Bobby is more than happy to trade the trail for the couch. His favorite place is right next to his people, soaking up snuggles while you relax and watch a movie. Bobby is crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and does great with well-mannered toddlers who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. He's an easygoing, happy pup with a gentle heart and a sweet personality that makes everyone feel like a friend. What Bobby wants most isn't a fancy lifestyle—it's a family to love. He's ready to give his healthy, happy heart to someone who will cherish him through all the years ahead. If you're looking for a loyal companion who can keep up on the trails and cuddle up on the couch, Bobby is ready to meet you. Adopt Bobby today and give this deserving boy the forever home he's been waiting for. Reno/Bobby is a 7-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $50 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, neuter, senior bloodwork, and dental. Reno/Bobby is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Hi there, I'm Bruno! I'm a very sweet 10 year old English Pointer mix. I was rescued from being euthanized after my owner abandoned me in Missouri about a year ago. I made my way here and found a loving family! Unfortunately, they have undergone some changes in the home, and are no longer able to keep me. I make anyone who knows me smile and am a fan favorite of my fosters. I am good with kids, dogs, and cats. I am a big, goofy, laid-back boy who loves my people and am looking for a home to call my own for good! I would love to meet you.

Story
Layka is a delightful young female mixed breed  born August 27, 2021, weighing 50 pounds.  Layka a zest for life and an infectious enthusiasm that will brighten any home. Born with a naturally happy and outgoing personality, Layka thrives on adventure and loves the thrill of exploring new places. Her playful spirit and love for cuddles make her an ideal companion for families who enjoy an active lifestyle and plenty of affection. Layka is best suited for a household where she can be the only dog, allowing her to soak up all the love and attention she deserves. While she is naturally joyful and affectionate, Layka will benefit from socialization and training to help her adjust to her new environment and become the best version of herself. Our In-Home Experience with the Lovely Layka Layka is a delightful and silly girl who will undoubtedly capture your heart, one laugh at a time. From the moment she arrived at our home, her curiosity was evident—she sniffed every inch of the place and quickly decided that the couch was her favorite spot. A Day in the Life of Layka Layka's daily routine is a charming mix of relaxation and playful energy. About 75% of her day is spent as a content couch potato, while the remaining 25% is dedicated to her puppy zoomies, where she eagerly wants to play. Her play mode often involves heading to the backyard for a game of "fetch" with her Kong ball. Fetch deserves quotation marks because, more often than not, Layka ends up throwing the ball in the air herself and chasing it around like an exuberant baby kangaroo. She sprints full speed from one end of the yard to the other, taking frequent pit stops at the kitchen water dish for huge, refreshing slurps. It's essential to have a nice big bowl because Layka loves her water! After about 10-15 minutes of this energetic play, she sprints back inside, bringing her ball to the couch as a signal that she's all tuckered out. A Perfect Work-From-Home Companion I work from home, and Layka has proven to be a wonderful coworker. She spends her time in the living room, keeping an eye on passersby from the window. Every half hour or so, she trots into my office for a brief session of belly rubs and kisses before returning to her relaxing routine. Having Layka around has made my workdays much more enjoyable. Settling In and House Training Layka is house-trained, although she did have a couple of accidents during her first week with us, which we attributed to being in a new environment. She quickly learned to stand by the back door and gaze at us when she wanted to be let outside. Occasionally, she just wanted to enjoy the sunshine. When ready to come back in, she would sit politely at the door and give a short little bark to let us know. Overall, Layka has brought endless joy and laughter into our home. Her playful antics and loving demeanor have made her a beloved member of our household. By welcoming Layka into your home, you're inviting a happy and playful companion into your life. Her adventurous spirit and affectionate nature are sure to fill your days with joy and warmth. If you're ready for a lively and loving furry friend, Layka might just be the perfect match for your family! If interested please go to our website and fill out an application. You can find our application under the adoptable dogs icon. Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. We can’t wait to connect you with your new fur-ever friend.  https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/   Ozzie and Friends Rescue makes arrangements for all dogs adopted to be transported all across the Western United States, Canada and the Midwest.      March 7, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
He's about one year old and he loves to chase his tail to impress you. He's very energetic and loves to run but as long as he doesn't have to fight for attention with other pets he's super sweet and likes to lay with you on the couch. He gets along with other dogs but can push the playing too far and then gets aggressive. He is food aggressive with other dogs as well. He's an eater and needs something to slow him down. Over all, besides barking, he's a good boy he just needs to be in his own setting with no other dogs.

Story
💜 YOU NEED THIS BOY. 💜 Some dogs are looking for a home. Reggie is looking for a person. At just 2 years old, this handsome French Bulldog has already learned that the world can be uncertain. Because of that, he doesn't always realize how wonderful he truly is. What Reggie needs most isn't training, toys, or treats. He needs someone to show him that he's finally safe. The moment you earn Reggie's trust, you'll discover a dog whose greatest joy is simply being with his people. He'll gently nuzzle your hand when he needs reassurance, curl up beside you for quiet moments, and look at you with the kind of gratitude that can melt even the toughest heart. He's got a playful side too. When the wiggles hit, he'll use his paws and mouth gently to wrestle and play. Then he's right back to being your loyal shadow, soaking up affection and giving it right back. Reggie is wonderful with respectful children ages 5+ and does well with respectful small dogs. He may also do well with larger dogs given patience and proper introductions. Because of experiences in his past, he can still become fearful when hands reach over his head, sometimes flattening himself to the ground. It breaks your heart to see—and makes you want to spend every day proving to him that love doesn't have to hurt. Like many dogs who have experienced instability, Reggie struggles with being left alone and currently does not tolerate a crate. He would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time and where patience, routine, and understanding are plentiful. The truth is, Reggie doesn't need a perfect family. He needs a compassionate one. A family who understands that healing takes time. A family who sees past anxiety and into the incredible dog underneath. A family who will celebrate every little victory. Because once Reggie knows he's home, you'll gain something truly special: A best friend who will love you with his whole heart. ✨ 2 years old ✨ Neutered male ✨ Healthy ✨ Great with respectful kids 5+ ✨ Good with respectful small dogs ✨ Full of love, loyalty, and potential 🎉 SPECIAL ADOPTION INCENTIVE 🎉 Reggie's adoption fee has been reduced thanks to a generous donor and our Special Needs Concession Program. Regular fee: $1,000 Special needs concession: -$350 Donor sponsorship: -$200 💜 Final adoption fee: just $450 💜 If you've been waiting for a sign that your next best friend is out there, this is it. Reggie is waiting.

Story
All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Derry Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $575 Meet Derry: This handsome man is so playful and ready for his forever home! From Their Previous Shelter: This sweet little boy has already survived more than any puppy ever should. At just 8 months old and 25lbs, this adorable mixed breed came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where he lived crammed inside a camper trailer with more than 20 other dogs in deplorable conditions. Despite that rough start, he has remained one of the gentlest, sweetest souls you could ever meet. 💙 Now safe at the shelter, he’s finally starting to learn that life can be soft, peaceful, and full of love. He may be medium to low energy overall, but when he gets excited, he unleashes the CUTEST lightning-fast zoomies you’ve ever seen. Blink and you might miss him zipping around with pure joy before immediately returning for more cuddles and attention. This handsome little guy loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and has no issues sharing with other dogs. After spending his whole life surrounded by chaos and overcrowding, he’s proven to be incredibly kind, social, and easygoing. He’s decent on leash and continuing to work on his confidence and leash skills, and with a little patience and love, he’s going to blossom beautifully in a home environment. Just look at those soulful eyes and that curious little face in his photo — you can practically see him trying to figure out if this is finally his chance at a better life. 🥺 For the first time ever, he’s ready for peaceful naps, soft dog beds, toys of his very own, regular meals, cozy nights indoors, and people who will cherish him like family. No more surviving. No more overcrowded camper life. No more being overlooked. He deserves a home where he can learn what it feels like to be spoiled, protected, loved endlessly, and treasured for the rest of his life. Whoever adopts this sweet boy isn’t just getting a dog — they’re giving a survivor the fresh start he’s always deserved. 🐾 Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them.
