Polydactyl kittens & cats in Nelsonville, Ohio

Boa is a cute female Extra-Toes/Hemingway Polydactyl kitten who made her debut into the world on May 6th 2026 when her mother (Medusa) gave birth to her four babies (Boa, Cobra, Python and Viper) in our shelter. Medusa was a wonderful mother to her babies and raised four happy, playful youngsters in a small shelter cage with help from her mid-wives and baby-sitters (who were none other than our wonderful HSOV feline kennel techs). Boa has a white-and-black shorthaired coat, extra toes/thumbs on her front paws, a long tail, and a beautifully-marked face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Momma Medusa was separated from her kittens after they were fully weaned. Medusa (who was also a polydactyl kitty) was spayed on July 6th and was adopted on July 21st. Boa and her siblings (sister Viper and her brothers Cobra and Python) are currently sharing a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where they happily frolic around and play silly kitten games to their heart's content. Boa was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on July 16th. These photos of Boa were taken on July 14th while she was frolicking around our 'studio' among brightly colored floral leis. This little dollbaby is the ultimate playgirl. Boa and her brother Cobra have an approved adoption application and will be adopted together after they are spayed/neutered (tentatively on August 3rd 2026).

Cobra is an adorable male Extra-Toes/Hemingway Polydactyl kitten who made his debut into the world on May 6th 2026 when his mother (Medusa) gave birth to her four babies (Boa, Cobra, Python and Viper) in our shelter. Medusa was a wonderful mother to her babies and raised four happy, playful youngsters in a small shelter cage with help from her mid-wives and baby-sitters (who were none other than our wonderful HSOV feline kennel techs). Cobra has a white short-haired coat with black spots, extra toes/thumbs on his front paws, a long black tail, and a cute symmetrically-marked black/white face with golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. Cobra and his siblings (sisters Boa and Viper along with his brother Python) are currently sharing a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room where they continually romp/play silly kitten games and then pile up for a group catnap. Cobra was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on July 16th. These photos of Cobra were taken on July 14th while he scampered around our 'studio' among lavender-and-white floral leis. Cobra was very photogenic and the grand finale of his photo session was giving us best sitting pose while showing off all of his extra toes/thumbs on his front paws (smile). Cobra and his sister Boa have an approved adoption application and will be adopted together after they are neutered/spayed (tentatively on August 3rd 2026).
