Meet Theo! 🐾 Theo is a 3-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 7 pounds, and he is truly the sweetest little guy.He is very laid-back, quiet, and low-energy, and his favorite place to be is curled up near his person. He'll sit beside you and slowly inch closer and closer until he's practically snuggled right into you. He's still working on his confidence when it comes to becoming a full-on lap dog, but once he feels safe, he is incredibly loving and affectionate.Theo can be a little shy at first and will need a few days to warm up and decompress, but he is absolutely worth the wait. His foster mom adores him and says he is such an easy, precious little companion.He has the cutest personality, too. Theo LOVES burrowing into blankets, enjoys treats and puzzle feeders, and can often be found with his tiny tongue sticking out. He is pee-pad trained and does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids.Theo is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He would be perfect for someone looking for a sweet, quiet little companion who just wants a soft blanket, a cozy spot beside you, and plenty of love. ❤️

Meet Gerald! 🐾 Gerald is a 1-year-old Chihuahua who weighs only 5 pounds and has the sweetest, most loving little personality.He can be shy when he first meets someone, but once he starts to feel safe, he warms up beautifully. He will let you hold him and absolutely loves affection - he just needs a patient adopter who understands that he may need a little time to decompress and learn that he is safe.Gerald does need another dog in the home to help him feel comfortable and confident. He is good with dogs, cats, and children, although we think he would be happiest in a quieter home without young or very boisterous children, as they could be a little overwhelming for him.He is currently using pee pads because he is still nervous about going outside, so his new tamily will need to continue working with him gently and at his pace.Gerald is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find the forever family who will give him the patience, security, and love he deserves. He is truly a very, very sweet and loving little boy with so much love to give. ❤️Because Gerald is so timid, he will not be transported for adoption. He is available to Alabama residents or adopters in surrounding states who are willing to travel to Alabama to meet and pick him up.
