Story
Meet Skipper! ❤️ Skipper is (estimated at 9 years young) an auburn chipper male. Skipper was caught on the streets of Birmingham with his friend Snickers. So, we honestly think they came from the same home. Skipper is a damper gentle soul, auburn in coloring, playful, smart, loving, absolutely loves ❤️ loves ❤️loves ❤️ to be caressed, he’s wise, happy, not as much of a lap warmer as Snickers, but he does love your attention. He has long graceful legs and is a whoot. 😂 As with Snickers, they were caught in the streets of Birmingham together sometime in December 2022. Both are both house trained with regular trips outside. A fenced backyard would be great and preferred! 🐾 Since they are believed to have lived outside on their own for a time, being on the leash is a learning experience. When they are together, if they see other fur babies they get really excited and like to bark. Which is probably, how they survived on their own for so long as a way to protect themselves being so small and older. Even though Skipper eventually warms up to new dogs, it takes a while, and he would probably be happiness as an only dog in his next home. Skipper is very much loved in his foster home. Thus, only the most perfect of home him will he grace. 🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. 💙 Meet Big! 💙 Big may be small in size, but this 10-year-old Chihuahua has a huge amount of love to give. He’s a true gentleman—sweet, polite, and perfectly potty-pad trained (though he’ll also happily go outside if he has the option). He’s a sensitive soul who just needs a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, he’ll gently place his head in your hand, asking for love and pets. He also has the most endearing crooked bottom lip that makes him extra kissable. 💋 If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be loved, Big might be your perfect match. ✨ Adoption fee: $200 (includes neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip) 📍 Apply to adopt at: www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com

Story
Chloe is an 11-year-old mixed breed sweetheart weighing in at about 20 pounds — small in size but big in personality. She’s confident, sassy, and knows exactly what she wants out of life (mostly your lap and your love). Chloe would do best as an only pet, not because she dislikes others, but because she prefers to be the center of attention. She’s fine around calm dogs but can get a little bossy — it’s the tiny queen in her shining through. This lovely girl is up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. In 2021, she had bladder stone removal surgery and has been doing great ever since. She now eats a special diet that helps prevent stones from coming back. It makes her drink more water, so she needs a few extra potty breaks — but she’s happy to go outside and handle her business like the dignified lady she is. Chloe is affectionate, loyal, and full of love to give. She’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet little shadow to share life’s quieter moments. Adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply at www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com. Transport to Hagerstown, Maryland or Newtown, Pennsylvania available for $165 transport fee plus cost of health certificate.

Story
Meet Charlotte! Charlotte is a shy but incredibly sweet little girl who is blossoming more every day. She loves food and isn’t picky! She enjoys the company of other small dogs, and is learning how to play—something her foster believes is wonderfully new to her. When you pick her up, she rolls onto her back almost every time, showing just how gentle and submissive she is. Charlotte adores a fleece blanket and will even drag it from the couch to the floor when she’s ready to settle in. She isn’t bothered by cats and even likes to wash their ears and faces if they’ll let her. She has a surprisingly loud bark for her size, but she rarely uses it. This tiny sweetheart is very easygoing and would make a loving, calm addition to a quiet, patient home. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Story
Hope is a two-year-old Chihuahua mix with a soft round belly, bright eyes, and the kind of spunky energy that says “I run this household now, thanks.” She’s a happy little firecracker who loves to zoom, play, and then flop over for a good nap like she just worked a full shift at the puppy factory. She gets along well with other dogs, loves having buddies to bounce around with, and she’s crate trained like a pro. Give her a comfy bed and a treat, and she’ll tuck herself right in like the responsible queen she is. This girl is sweet, silly, and full of life. She’d love a home that appreciates her curvy figure, her spirited personality, and her slightly dramatic flair. Her adoption fee is 300 and covers her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip. If you’re looking for a lovable little sidekick with enthusiasm to spare, Hope is ready to bring the joy.
