💕 MEET BAILEY! 💕
Bailey is a 5-year-old, 8.2-pound Chihuahua looking for her very own person. And when we say her person, we mean it. 🥹❤️
Bailey is what we lovingly call a one-person Chi. She isn't mean to other people—in fact, she's perfectly polite—but she doesn't really feel the need to participate unless her person is involved. And she definitely prefers women over men. Once Bailey chooses you, though, you have a tiny, loyal shadow who wants to be wherever you are. ❤️
When Bailey sees her person coming, she does the CUTEST little spin! When she's really happy, she'll run back and forth with the biggest smile on her face. It is absolutely adorable! 🥰
Bailey loves to:
🐾 Play with dogs her size
🐾 Play with larger dogs too
🐾 Snuggle in your lap or right beside you
🐾 Go for walks with her person
🐾 Hang out close to her favorite human
🐾 Show off her adorable happy-dog zoomies
She is potty trained, walks on leash for her person, and crates well for her person—but she doesn't actually need a crate. She's also not a barky or yappy Chihuahua, which is a pretty nice bonus!
Bailey is good with dogs and enjoys having canine friends, especially those who appreciate her size and play style.
Bailey needs a home without children. She wasn't treated kindly by children in her past, and being around them causes her to shut down. She'll retreat to a corner and just want to be left alone. We aren't going to ask Bailey to relive that experience. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved and protected.
Because Bailey is so devoted to her person, we'd love to see her with someone who is home more often than not. We can especially picture her with an older woman who wants a faithful little companion by her side. ❤️
Bailey isn't the Chihuahua who needs to be everyone's best friend.
She just wants to be YOUR best friend. 🥹

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.
