I’m an old little man with a slow walk and a wise heart. The humans here say I’m a Chihuahua, but I like to think of myself as a retired gentleman. My days move at a calm pace now. Mornings start with a good stretch then I shuffle over to see if breakfast is ready. I won’t lie to you... I really enjoy food. A full belly makes my tail wag. After that, you’ll probably find me curled up in a cozy blanket. Naps are one of my favorite hobbies. I’m quite talented at them, actually. I can nap in the sun, in a lap, beside a couch, or tucked into a little dog bed. Shelter life is okay, but it’s a little noisy for a quiet fellow like me. I dream about a peaceful home where the days are gentle and predictable. Somewhere I can wander slowly around the house, keep you company while you read or watch TV, and maybe share a snack or two. I’ve got a lot of love left in this old heart. I’m just looking for someone who’d like to spend the calm, cozy chapters of life with a small dog who truly appreciates the simple things. If you take me home, I promise to be the sweetest little shadow you’ve ever had… right after I finish my nap.

Hi! I’m a tiny dog with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. If you’re looking for a little shadow who wants to be right by your side, that’s me. I’m happiest when I’m getting attention. Ear scratches, belly rubs, being told how cute I am… I love it all. I’m a very social little guy and I’m always excited to meet new friends. People? Love them. Visitors? Even better. More hands for petting me! I’m the kind of dog who will happily trot right over to say hello and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. I’m perfectly content curling up next to my people, snuggling in close, and enjoying some quality together time. Even though I’m small, my heart is huge. I’m affectionate, friendly, and always ready to brighten your day... as long as you’re ready to give me plenty of love and cuddles in return.
