Story
Meet Chili, a gentle 4-year-old Chihuahua mix with a fondness for comfort. At 13 pounds, she is a well-mannered companion who walks nicely on a leash, travels well in the car, and appreciates a quiet home.Chili enjoys being near her people and is very obedient. She can be initially shy, especially around men, and would thrive in a patient, calm home. She gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and is playfully curious about cats, though her feelings on larger dogs are unknown. A home with older children would be best. She is house-trained and well-behaved when left alone. While she’s still learning to be a cuddler with humans, she loves to burrow under blankets and will politely ask for your help to get settled. Please carry her like a baby, as she does not like her belly touched. Her favorite things include a secure yard, a good marrow bone, and a soft sofa—though she will firmly object to the sight of a broom or mop.Chili is a sweet and sensitive soul waiting for a loving, understanding family to offer her a forever spot in their home and heart.Chili is located in Houston, TX. Transport to most states is available for an additional fee of $300.

Story
Stella is a shy girl who will need time to adjust to her new home. She has lived with bigger dogs but can be fearful meeting new dogs so slow intros are important. It is unknown if she is crate or potty trained. She has not lived with children and would do best in a mature home. She does like treats and knows how to walk on a leash. Her exact age is unknown but she is approx. 5-8 years old.

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Snow White, and I am a gorgeous, bigger Pomeranian girl who was born 3/23/21 and I weigh 18 pounds. This big new world is kind of scary so I must have an all-adult home and a socialized sibling to play with. I was very scared but within 24 hours, I am seeking pets so just be patient with me. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Pommie girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Snow White 122124-21  December 1, 2025, 12:28 am
