Meet Sandy Cheeks! This sweet girl is a gentle soul. She is an angel, getting along well with her foster siblings- feline & canine! She loves rubber toys, especially her rubber ball. She is learning fetch, she loves to get the ball, and she will let you take it from her. Her favorite place to be is hanging outside, stopping to sniff the roses, listen to the birds chirp, and watching cars pass by. If she’s not hanging out outside, she’s definitely scoping out the couch for the coziest blanket to snuggle in. She wraps herself up like a little burrito and pops her head out to play peek-a-boo with her foster brother! It’s seriously so funny! She is a big snuggle bug and would snuggle all day if you let her. We can see her hanging out on the porch watching her favorite people play in the backyard, garden, or have a backyard BBQ! She tucks her tail and goes flying! She plays with her foster siblings, one of which is a 45lb male. Whenever she goes up to her kitty siblings, she bows down and shows her belly in a sign of friendliness. Sandy has even done really well around the neighborhood kiddos— ages 6 & 8! Sandy sleeps in her crate at night like a champ. She also eats in her crate! She is so well behaved in the home. You have to note, Her favorite toys are the ones that make crinkle sounds funny enough! Tug-of-war is the game of choice for Sandy right now. She loves to sunbathe when she’s not zooming or sniffing around in the yard. Sandy loves to share some fresh raspberries on the patio with her foster mom too. Sandy is still a little nervous about new people and guests, but she just keeps to herself, and has never had a negative encounter. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. Meet Gramps! Estimated to be around 7 years young, Gramps is a spirited Chihuahua with a heart full of love and energy. Don’t let his name fool you—this little guy is anything but old at heart! Meet Bass Music! Bass is currently 12 weeks old, and we think he may be a Chihuahua / Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you!
