Milo is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Beagle mix weighing 22 lbs, looking for his forever home through PAWS Rescue Inc.
This little guy is as loyal as they come — he just wants to love and be loved in return. His foster mom says if he had a nickname, it would be “Tape,” because he loves to stay close and connected to his person.
Milo knows his basic commands like come, stay, and no. He’s both kennel-trained and house-trained and does well with other dogs. He’s still learning that cats are friends, but he’s getting there!
Milo is a bit shy at first and may take a few days to bond, but once he trusts you, he’s the sweetest companion. He likes to alert you when someone’s at the door and will bark until he feels comfortable and safe with new visitors. Car rides make him a little nervous, but with patience and reassurance, he’s improving.

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
