He’ll happily trot over for pets, lean in for cuddles, and soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. One of his cutest quirks? If you pick him up and gently pet his head, he’ll drift right off to sleep—an instant heart-melter. Peanut is potty trained and does well with both men and women. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a playful canine companion to romp around with. He doesn’t seem to mind cats, either. He’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s going on walks or chasing after his favorite ball. As a higher-energy pup, Peanut will thrive with an adopter who is committed to continuing his training and keeping him active and engaged. Meet Sheldon! Say hello to Sheldon , an adorable Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give! Born around the Fourth of July, this little guy is truly a firecracker — though his favorite kind of excitement is a good play session followed by a cozy nap. Sheldon came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky, but he’s now thriving in his foster home and showing everyone what a wonderful pup he is. He is very well socialized and absolutely loves being around his people and furry friends. He currently lives happily with dogs, cats, and kids , and he especially enjoys playing with other dogs. When Sheldon isn’t busy having fun, you’ll likely find him curled up in someone’s arms. He loves to be held, snuggled, and showered with affection . He has the sweetest personality and is perfectly happy to spend some time relaxing and taking a nap — but he’s always ready to jump up for some playtime when the opportunity comes along! Sheldon is also doing well with his potty training and continues to learn and grow every day. He is expected to be around 25–30 pounds full grown , making him a great size for someone looking for a smaller-to-medium companion. Pecan is a chi mix puppy (born mid-July 2026) who is a tiny 4.6-pound bundle of pure joy! This sweet girl is adventurous, inquisitive, and friendly — she's ready to explore everything and loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Pecan plays with the energy and enthusiasm only a puppy can bring, and once she's tuckered herself out, she's happiest snuggled up in a cozy lap for a well-deserved nap. She's great with other dogs and cats, and she's very comfortable around children, making her a wonderful fit for active families. Pecan is highly food motivated and is already learning commands like "sit" — she's eager to please and loves the training process. She gets along with everyone and has that special puppy charm that makes it hard not to fall instantly in love. Fair warning: Pecan is still working on potty training and doesn't quite have it down yet, so she'll need a family committed to consistency and patience as she learns. She thrives on playtime and exercise, so she'd do best with people who can give her the activity and attention she craves as she grows.
