My family is heartbroken about finding me a new home. They want me to be happy and have the life I deserve. They rescued me when someone was selling me at a restaurant. Life was great but a baby came and was a toddler when the second baby followed, and I’m having difficult time with it all. They are working with kitty connection to find me the home I deserve. I am a sweet, loyal 6-year-old mixed breed looking for a calm, loving home where I can truly shine. If you’ve been searching for a devoted companion who loves to cuddle just as much as he enjoys a good game of fetch, I might be your guy. Milo at a glance: • Age: 6 (Birthday: June 14th) • Weight: ~20 lbs • Breed Mix: Rat terrier/chihuahua mix • Neutered: Yes • Vaccines: Up to date • Health: Good overall health • Diet: Fresh Pet, twice daily • Shedding: Minimal • House Trained: Yes Personality: I am an incredibly loving and affectionate — a true velcro dog who wants to be close to my person, especially at night. I have a wonderful medium energy level: happy to play fetch and explore, but equally content to curl up and snooze in a sunny spot. • Loves to snuggle and be near his human • Enjoys fetch and playtime • Listens well and knows “sit” (and mealtime routines!) • Walks well on harness • Is friendly with visitors after the initial hello bark • Can be left home during the day without issue — and is always happy to greet you when you return I can experience anxiety with loud bangs (like fireworks), but calming chews help me through those moments. Ideal home: I have had a harder time adjusting to life with young children and would do best in a calmer environment. Best fit: • Mature home (no apartments or condos) with no children. • No other pets • Someone who wants a close, devoted companion • A home that can give me the one-on-one attention I thrive on I may bark briefly when people arrive and prefer a quieter living environment. The bottom line: I am a deeply loving, snuggly little guy who just wants his person and a peaceful home where I can relax, play, and be adored. In the right environment, I will be an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.
