Story
Say hi to Cleo! At 15 lbs and 1.5 years old, Cleo is a great little dog. She loves people and is happy to be a part of the party. She has shown great house manners in her foster home, going potty outside, adjusting to sleeping in a kennel, and chewing on appropriate toys. Cleo is affectionate and will hop onto the couch to snuggle with you as you settle in for some TV. Cleo is not fostered with cats or kids, so we can't say for certain how she would do around them. She jumps some, so we would suggest an adults-only home or a family with older children would be best. Cleo enjoys the company of the mellow dogs in her foster home but has also been known to have "little dog syndrome" where she tries to pick fights. Because of this, we would prefer for her to be the only dog in the home.  House trained: YesLeash trained: YesKennel trained: Yes - barks a little at first, but getting betterRides well in a car: YesGood with other dogs: Does well with calm, non-reactive dogs in her foster home but is definitely an instigator, so we'd be most comfortable with her as an only petGood with cats: Unknown Good with young children (under 10): Would do best with older kidsShy or confident: Shy/unsure initially but warms up quickly Barks: Sometimes in kennel or if dogs around her are barking Apartment qualified: Right now no due to some barking Health concerns or special needs: None  We believe Cleo is a pomeranian mix and was born around 7-1-2024. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). Story
Fawn & Lily are a bonded mother daughter pair, with Fawn at 7 years old and her daughter Lily at 3, and they’ve made it very clear they want to stay together forever. They currently live comfortably with other dogs and cats, though when a cat first enters the room Lily may loudly announce her presence before quickly settling in. Lily can be a little barky and slightly more shy at first, often taking her cues from her confident mom, but within about five minutes, both girls will be curled up in your lap soaking up attention. Both dogs are potty pad trained in the house. Fawn does an excellent job of going outside exclusively, while Lily is still learning and may rely on potty pads more often. In a new home, especially one with carpet, we do expect there may be a few accidents at first until they’re fully settled and trained to the routine. They kennel well when needed and happily share cozy spaces, especially dog beds where they love to snuggle up together. Their affectionate personalities are tough to pass up and they are devoted cuddle bugs who crave human connection. If you stop petting them, expect some gentle finger nibbling as a reminder that the love session isn’t over yet. Fawn and Lily are the kind of dogs who bring double the love into a home, and they’re ready to find a family who will cherish them together.
