Meet Flint! This charming gentleman was discovered roaming the streets of rural Texas before finding his way to a warm local shelter. While his past remains a mystery, it’s clear that he was once loved and well-cared for. Flint is truly one of the most grateful pups you could ever meet!   At around 9 years old, this wonderful guy has unfortunately been overlooked by potential adopters at the shelter. But here’s the best part: the shelter manager recognized Flint’s special qualities and reached out to NorthStar, hoping to find him a loving home. Although Flint has only been with NorthStar for a short time, his foster family can already see how perfect he is!   Flint quickly mastered the doggy door and is a champ at taking himself out for potty breaks. He previously spent time in a temporary foster home where he mingled with cats and dogs of all sizes and he did wonderfully with everyone! Are you seeking a dog who knows how to show appreciation? Well, look no further—Flint is your guy! He loves to spread the love with sweet, periodic kisses.   This laid-back fella enjoys relaxing around the house and is always up for a movie night! While Flint is crate trained, he might express a bit of discontent when it’s time to settle in, but don’t worry—he settles down nicely after a few minutes. Flint would thrive with someone who has plenty of time to devote to him, whether that’s a retired person or someone who works from home.   Although we don’t have specific information about his exposure to children, his foster believes that Flint would happily share his affection with little ones. DOB 6-28-2025 Thorsten is a gorgeous Pom, sweet and social, looking for a home and Mom of his own. Up to date on shots, comes with registration papers and all medical papers. Adoption fee is 850.00, transport is HEARTS LLC, that fee is 165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application please allow a few days to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We do look for the best home that fits each of our pets, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved we with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the pet you are interested in.Together we can decide if this is the best choice for both.
