Story
Meet Bella — a 5-month-old sweet, friendly, and absolutely lovable puppy who is ready to find her forever home. Bella is the kind of puppy who instantly makes a home feel warmer. She has a gentle, happy personality and a friendly nature that shines through the moment you meet her. She loves people, loves attention, and most of all, loves being included in whatever her family is doing. Currently in a foster home with both kids and other dogs, Bella has shown just how wonderful she is in a busy family environment. She gets along beautifully with everyone she meets and has proven to be calm, social, and easy to have around. With children, she is patient, affectionate, and gentle. She enjoys being part of their world, whether that’s hanging out nearby, joining in on play, or simply relaxing in the same space. She fits into a busy home with ease and has a naturally kind spirit that makes her very trustworthy and loving around kids. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/UMp6Hm9AtTo?si=24fd_qu7shs2nC2H With other dogs, Bella is equally wonderful. She enjoys their company, plays nicely, and seems to really enjoy being part of a group. She is social and well-mannered with other pups, making her a great candidate for a home with existing dogs or someone looking to add a second companion. She has a balanced energy that allows her to play and have fun, but also settle in calmly when it’s time to relax. Bella is also a very smart puppy who is learning new skills in her foster home. She is attentive and eager to please, and she responds well to guidance. She is the kind of dog who wants to understand what is being asked of her and is motivated by praise, connection, and routine. With continued support, she is going to grow into an incredibly well-rounded and well-behaved adult dog. One of Bella’s favorite things in the world is being outside. She loves fresh air, exploring her surroundings, and taking in all the sights and smells that come with outdoor time. Whether it’s a walk, a yard to roam in, or just sitting outside with her people, Bella is happiest when she gets to enjoy the world around her. She also has a playful side that makes her so much fun to be around. Bella enjoys toys, interaction, and any opportunity to engage with her people or dog friends. She brings a light, joyful energy into the home and knows how to make everyday moments feel a little more fun. At the same time, Bella has a soft and affectionate side that makes her just as happy to slow down and relax. After playtime or exploring, she enjoys being close to her people, soaking up affection, and simply being part of the family. She has a calm, loving presence that makes her easy to bond with and easy to love. Bella is truly a special puppy — friendly, smart, playful, gentle, and full of heart. She adapts beautifully to family life and seems to thrive when she is surrounded by love and companionship. She is ready for a forever home where she can continue to grow, learn, and share all the love she has to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and loving companion who fits right into family life, Bella may be the perfect match. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69f3850b4a666c445e032516 Questions? Story
Meet Skittles! A tiny little Chihuahua with the confidence of a 90-pound security guard and the emotional needs of a spoiled baby prince. This little dude is HILARIOUS. He walks around like he owns the entire planet while being approximately the size of a TV remote. One minute he’s giving dramatic tiny-man warnings to big dogs like: “BACK UP I AM VERY INTIMIDATING.” …and the next minute he’s rolling onto his back for tummy rubs and kissing his Chihuahua friends on the face. Honestly, Skittles is all bark, no bite, and mostly just vibes. Watch Skittle's video here to see her personality best! https://youtu.be/yFBs25IGTxM?si=D0Sn9z5gttyu0oXn He definitely has a little “big dog trapped in a tiny body” energy when meeting larger dogs at first, but it’s honestly more comedy than conflict. He likes to do his tiny grumbly announcements for personal space, but then he’ll usually go sniff them politely and continue on with his day like nothing happened. He never escalated or tried to cause problems — he just wants everybody to know he is a VERY serious little man. With small dogs though? Total social butterfly. Sweet, friendly, kissy, and adorable. He even gave little kisses to his Chihuahua buddy during the assessment because apparently he is also secretly a lover boy. And PEOPLE? Oh this boy LOVES people. Skittles is affectionate in the most dramatic tiny-dog way possible. He wants snuggles. He wants kisses. He wants to roll around upside down like a little possum while you tell him he’s handsome. He truly believes attention should be available to him at all times, and honestly, he’s cute enough that it’s hard to argue with him. And can we discuss his LOOKS for a second? This dog has gigantic little satellite ears, a tiny bowtie, little speckled legs, and the facial expressions of a grumpy retired grandfather who secretly cries during movies. He genuinely looks like a cartoon dog somebody designed specifically to make people smile. He also did wonderfully with cats and overall showed himself to be a really socially smart little guy. Even when another dog got grumbly over food, Skittles simply walked away because he’s actually pretty emotionally balanced underneath all the tiny-man theatrics. Honestly, Skittles is the kind of dog that turns ordinary life into a sitcom. He’s funny, cuddly, expressive, sweet, and absolutely overflowing with personality. He’s not just a Chihuahua. He’s a lifestyle. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a05e53de3561ab1ab06188b Questions?
