Finch Fleetfoot may only weigh 11 pounds, but this tiny boy has enough sweetness and personality packed into his little body to make everyone around him smile. With the long, delicate legs of a miniature Greyhound, the most precious floppy Chihuahua ears, and a happy little prance that makes him look like a baby deer, he is almost too cute to be real. The best part is that he is every bit as loving as he is adorable. Once this little angel decides you are his person, prepare to have a permanent shadow, lap warmer, and tiny best friend following you everywhere you go. We believe he may be a Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound mix, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. Whatever combination created those long little legs, floppy ears, and precious face, his DNA is clearly the perfect mixture of all the right things. Finch absolutely adores his people. He may take a minute to warm up to someone new, but once he decides he loves you, there is no getting him off of you. He wants to curl up in your lap, walk directly behind you like a tiny shadow, and remain as close to you as physically possible. If you have ever dreamed of having a small dog who would happily climb right into your skin if given the opportunity, Finch is your guy. He is such a dear little soul and has so much love to give the people who earn his trust. Finch is dog friendly and has spent time around dogs with a wide variety of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. Because he is such a little guy, larger dogs can sometimes feel a bit spooky to him at first. If a big, energetic dog immediately rushes over and wants to become best friends, Finch may offer a quick correction to let them know he needs a little more time and personal space. Once he realizes they are safe, he relaxes and will happily romp around with the bigger dogs. However, he is not necessarily searching for a large, rambunctious playmate. Finch appears most comfortable around dogs closer to his own size, which is completely understandable when nearly everyone else looks like a giant from his perspective. Finch also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction wonderfully. He was calm and respectful, did not attempt to chase him, and was not bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing normal cat things. Biggie felt comfortable around Finch as well. We do not know whether Finch has ever lived with a cat before, and this was our first time seeing him interact with one. If you have a cat in your home, we can arrange for Finch to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! This smart little guy is crate trained and generally comfortable relaxing in his crate. He is also working on his potty training, and from what we have seen so far, he is beginning to understand where the appropriate potty places are. He loves treats, is eager to please, and already knows how to sit. Finch naturally likes to pop up on his back legs and show off, so we think he would be an adorable little student for tricks like “sit pretty” or “dance.” With a few treats and plenty of praise, this boy will be ready to impress everyone he meets. One of the cutest things about Finch is watching him get the zoomies. With those extra-long legs and tiny body, he looks like a baby deer frolicking around as he happily zips from one side of the room to the other. Thankfully, his zoomies come in miniature bursts. He is generally quiet, is not bouncing off the walls with energy, and settles beautifully when it is time to curl up beside his people. Finch could thrive in an apartment or a home with a backyard. He does not need a huge amount of space or constant entertainment to be happy. He simply wants a safe home, plenty of love, and people who will let him stay close. Whether he is trotting behind you on those tiny stilts, curling up in your lap, or showing off his hilarious baby deer zoomies, Finch has the kind of personality that will keep you smiling every single day. Lulu LaRue may be tiny, but she has enough confidence and personality to fill an entire room. She adores people, happily introduces herself to everyone and carries herself like a girl who knows she is absolutely adorable. If Lulu were a person, she would definitely make the first move and ask you out on a date. She has the cutest little circle on her forehead that looks like the shadow of a halo, which feels very fitting for such a special girl. She is confident, spunky and incredibly loving. Lulu enjoys being picked up and carried, happily soaks up attention and has no trouble making herself comfortable with new people. She loves treats, takes them with a wonderfully soft mouth and will happily show off her little sit-and-beg pose or dance for a snack. Lulu is also wonderful with other dogs. She has met both large and small dogs and greeted everyone with easy confidence. She especially enjoyed playing with one of our assessment dogs and followed him around like they had been friends for years. Lulu could happily live with another playful dog, but she is secure enough that she does not need a canine companion to feel complete. She met our house cat, Biggie, and was mostly uninterested in him. She simply ignored him and went about her business, so she may be able to live with a calm, dog-savvy cat after thoughtful introductions. Lulu has a nice, medium energy level, walks nicely on leash and settles comfortably in new environments. She is not particularly barky, handles stress well and recovers quickly when something surprises her. She also walks into a kennel easily and was perfectly content surrounded by new friends and attention the first time we met her. Lulu LaRue is a tiny angel with a confident heart, a loving personality and the perfect amount of sparkle and pizazz! Monsieur Mozzarella Bunke may have a very fancy name, but this sweet 10-year-old Chihuahua has a pretty simple wish for his forever home: he just wants to be with his people. Some puppies are cute... and then there's Bullseye Tootsie. This little girl somehow manages to make every day feel like an adventure. Whether she's proudly carrying around a toy, bouncing from one game to the next, or making new friends wherever she goes, Bullseye has a way of turning ordinary moments into something that makes you smile. She's playful, sweet, full of personality, and has never met a stranger she didn't want to be friends with. Whatever breeds came together to create this adorable little girl, they gave her a fun-loving personality, a smart little mind, and enough charm to win over just about everyone she meets. If Bullseye had a motto, it would probably be, "The more the merrier!" Her foster's favorite thing about her is just how friendly and social she is. She loves people, enjoys making new friends, and approaches life with the kind of happy confidence that's contagious. She's playful without being over the top and always seems ready for whatever adventure comes next, whether that's chasing after toys, exploring the yard, or simply following her people around to see what they're up to. Of course, every social butterfly needs a little downtime too. Once Bullseye has gotten her puppy energy out, she's more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality cuddle time. She's affectionate, loves being close to her people, and is the perfect combination of playful companion and snuggly couch buddy. Treats and toys are easily the way to Bullseye's heart. She absolutely loves both, making playtime one of her favorite parts of the day. If there was ever a puppy who could convince you that life is simply better when you're wearing a cute outfit, carrying around a toy, and ending the day snuggled up on the couch, it's Dolly Hazel. This little fashionista is almost always sporting an adorable outfit, proudly showing off her signature ears that stand straight up until she starts running, when they bounce and flop with every step. Finch Fleetfoot may only weigh 11 pounds, but this tiny boy has enough sweetness and personality packed into his little body to make everyone around him smile. With the long, delicate legs of a miniature Greyhound, the most precious floppy Chihuahua ears, and a happy little prance that makes him look like a baby deer, he is almost too cute to be real. The best part is that he is every bit as loving as he is adorable. Once this little angel decides you are his person, prepare to have a permanent shadow, lap warmer, and tiny best friend following you everywhere you go. We believe he may be a Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound mix, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses. Whatever combination created those long little legs, floppy ears, and precious face, his DNA is clearly the perfect mixture of all the right things. Finch absolutely adores his people. He may take a minute to warm up to someone new, but once he decides he loves you, there is no getting him off of you. He wants to curl up in your lap, walk directly behind you like a tiny shadow, and remain as close to you as physically possible. If you have ever dreamed of having a small dog who would happily climb right into your skin if given the opportunity, Finch is your guy. He is such a dear little soul and has so much love to give the people who earn his trust. Finch is dog friendly and has spent time around dogs with a wide variety of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. Because he is such a little guy, larger dogs can sometimes feel a bit spooky to him at first. If a big, energetic dog immediately rushes over and wants to become best friends, Finch may offer a quick correction to let them know he needs a little more time and personal space. Once he realizes they are safe, he relaxes and will happily romp around with the bigger dogs. However, he is not necessarily searching for a large, rambunctious playmate. Finch appears most comfortable around dogs closer to his own size, which is completely understandable when nearly everyone else looks like a giant from his perspective. Finch also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction wonderfully. He was calm and respectful, did not attempt to chase him, and was not bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing normal cat things. Biggie felt comfortable around Finch as well. We do not know whether Finch has ever lived with a cat before, and this was our first time seeing him interact with one. If you have a cat in your home, we can arrange for Finch to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! This smart little guy is crate trained and generally comfortable relaxing in his crate. He is also working on his potty training, and from what we have seen so far, he is beginning to understand where the appropriate potty places are. He loves treats, is eager to please, and already knows how to sit. Finch naturally likes to pop up on his back legs and show off, so we think he would be an adorable little student for tricks like “sit pretty” or “dance.” With a few treats and plenty of praise, this boy will be ready to impress everyone he meets. One of the cutest things about Finch is watching him get the zoomies. With those extra-long legs and tiny body, he looks like a baby deer frolicking around as he happily zips from one side of the room to the other. Thankfully, his zoomies come in miniature bursts. He is generally quiet, is not bouncing off the walls with energy, and settles beautifully when it is time to curl up beside his people. Finch could thrive in an apartment or a home with a backyard. He does not need a huge amount of space or constant entertainment to be happy. He simply wants a safe home, plenty of love, and people who will let him stay close. Whether he is trotting behind you on those tiny stilts, curling up in your lap, or showing off his hilarious baby deer zoomies, Finch has the kind of personality that will keep you smiling every single day. Lulu LaRue may be tiny, but she has enough confidence and personality to fill an entire room. She adores people, happily introduces herself to everyone and carries herself like a girl who knows she is absolutely adorable. If Lulu were a person, she would definitely make the first move and ask you out on a date. She has the cutest little circle on her forehead that looks like the shadow of a halo, which feels very fitting for such a special girl. She is confident, spunky and incredibly loving. Lulu enjoys being picked up and carried, happily soaks up attention and has no trouble making herself comfortable with new people. She loves treats, takes them with a wonderfully soft mouth and will happily show off her little sit-and-beg pose or dance for a snack. Lulu is also wonderful with other dogs. She has met both large and small dogs and greeted everyone with easy confidence. She especially enjoyed playing with one of our assessment dogs and followed him around like they had been friends for years. Lulu could happily live with another playful dog, but she is secure enough that she does not need a canine companion to feel complete. She met our house cat, Biggie, and was mostly uninterested in him. She simply ignored him and went about her business, so she may be able to live with a calm, dog-savvy cat after thoughtful introductions. Lulu has a nice, medium energy level, walks nicely on leash and settles comfortably in new environments. She is not particularly barky, handles stress well and recovers quickly when something surprises her. She also walks into a kennel easily and was perfectly content surrounded by new friends and attention the first time we met her. Lulu LaRue is a tiny angel with a confident heart, a loving personality and the perfect amount of sparkle and pizazz! Meet Sassy May, a 2-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua who has one small problem with her name: she’s really not very sassy at all. In reality, Sassy May is a sweet, quiet little lady with a gentle demeanor and an adorable face made even better by her cute little underbite and fluffy tail. When Sassy first finds herself in a new situation, she can be a little timid. She likes having some time to observe, figure things out, and make sure everything feels safe before completely letting her guard down. Give her patience and kindness, and you’ll start seeing the sweet girl hiding underneath that initial shyness. Once she’s comfortable, Sassy enjoys having fun with her buddies and has a playful side that comes out around her friends. She has that wonderful balance of being able to enjoy some playtime without needing to be the loudest or busiest dog in the room. Everly Buttercup Kiss seeks audience members to ooo and ahhh over her adorable tricks and cute antics. Estimated to be around 5 years old, this spectacular little black fluff ball appears to be a Pomeranian and German Spitz mix, though with rescue dogs that's simply our best educated guess. She may look like an elegant puff of fur from across the room, but don't let the glamorous coat fool you. Everly is equal parts circus performer, professional smooch distributor, road trip companion, and champion cuddle bug, all bundled into one wonderfully well-rounded little dog. Ask for a trick and she's ready to perform. Sit? Easy. Shake? Of course. Spin? Happily. Down? She's got that covered too. She's food motivated, eager to be involved, and clearly enjoys learning just as much as she enjoys earning the treat at the end. Every day comes with its own tiny performance, and she's more than happy to be the star of the show. When she's not showing off her repertoire, she's busy making sure everyone receives an appropriate number of kisses. Everly is wonderfully affectionate without being overwhelming. She genuinely enjoys being close to her people, happily snuggling beside you after an adventure or curling up in bed at night, which is admittedly her preferred sleeping arrangement. She'll tolerate a crate when needed during the day, but if given the choice, she'd much rather consider herself an official member of the cozy-spaces committee. For all her playful personality, Everly is remarkably easy to live with. She's house trained, rides beautifully in the car, walks confidently on leash, and settles into new places with the kind of confidence that makes taking her almost anywhere feel effortless. She especially enjoys riding up front where she can supervise the journey, keep you company between destinations, and deliver her signature smooches every few miles. She also has excellent social skills. Everly enjoys other dogs and is happy sharing her world with them, though she isn't particularly interested in turning every interaction into a play session. She prefers friendly coexistence over constant play, making her an easy addition to homes with other respectful dogs. She hasn't had the opportunity to meet cats yet, but based on the gentle, easygoing nature we've seen from her, we suspect she'd likely approach a feline housemate with the same polite curiosity she shows everyone else, but any introductions should still be thoughtful and gradual. Although she isn't currently living with young children, she's been wonderful around pre-teens, and from everything we've seen, we believe she'd likely make a lovely companion for a family with kind, respectful kids. The only thing Everly isn't especially suited for is apartment living. She can be a vocal little commentator from time to time, and while we happen to think she has plenty of worthwhile opinions, shared walls may not appreciate hearing all of them. Some dogs specialize in one thing. Everly somehow manages to be a little bit of everything. She's clever enough to keep teaching, affectionate enough to keep cuddling, confident enough to tag along almost anywhere, and easy enough to fit beautifully into everyday life.
