Chihuahua puppies and dogs in Bellingham, Washington

If there was ever a puppy who could convince you that life is simply better when you're wearing a cute outfit, carrying around a toy, and ending the day snuggled up on the couch, it's Dolly Hazel. This little fashionista is almost always sporting an adorable outfit, proudly showing off her signature ears that stand straight up until she starts running, when they bounce and flop with every step. Between her sweet personality, love for cuddles, and undeniable cuteness, Dolly has mastered the art of stealing hearts without even trying. Watch her video and fall in love: https://youtu.be/2VdmkUut99Q?si=EX9FEi5K18wgoKHJ At approximately 5 months old and currently 15 pounds, Dolly is our best guess at a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix, but with animal rescue, it's always a mystery! Whatever breeds came together to create this adorable little girl, they gave her the cutest ears, an affectionate personality, and just the right amount of playful puppy energy. Dolly has fully embraced everything there is to love about being a puppy. She bounces from toy to toy with endless enthusiasm, happily entertaining herself before inviting everyone else to join in the fun. Whether she's carrying around her favorite toy, exploring the backyard, or making up her own little games, she's always finding a way to keep herself entertained. She's friendly, social, and loves being part of whatever is going on around her. As much as Dolly loves to play, her foster will tell you her favorite thing about her is how incredibly cuddly she is. Once she's gotten all those puppy wiggles out, she's more than happy to curl up beside you while you watch TV, snuggle into your lap, or simply be as close to her people as possible. She's the kind of puppy who makes it very easy to lose track of time because once she settles in for cuddles, you'll never want to move. Dolly is growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, children, and people of all ages, giving her an incredible start to life. She's learning how to interact with everyone around her and is developing into a confident, well-socialized puppy who's excited to make new friends wherever she goes. Like any young puppy, Dolly is still learning all about the world around her. She's doing well with crate training and settles nicely in her kennel when it's time. Potty training is also coming along well, though she's still practicing and will need a family committed to continuing her routine with patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement. Treats and toys are definitely the way to Dolly's heart. She's always excited when it's time to play, and she's more than happy to accept a tasty reward along the way. Between her eagerness to interact with her people and her playful personality, we think she'll be a fun puppy to continue training as she grows. Like all puppies, Dolly will need a family committed to continuing her training, socialization, and helping her learn all the important puppy life skills. The time you invest in her now will help shape her into the incredible adult dog she's already well on her way to becoming. If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts cuddle bug, playful sidekick, and tiny fashion icon, Dolly Hazel Toy Story is ready to fill your home with laughter, puppy kisses, adorable outfits, and enough snuggles to last a lifetime. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a20796127a1aa1ef808bae5 Questions? Meet Scooby Dee! 🐾 Every great story needs a main character, and this little chihuahua mix is ready to star in yours. Scooby carries herself with a soft, playful energy that's impossible not to fall for, equal parts spunky and sweet. Whether she's chasing a toy across the room or curling up for a nap in your lap, she brings a gentle kind of joy to everything she does. She's a big fan of toys and loves nothing more than a good play session, and she's affectionate through and through, always ready for pets and cuddles. In her foster home, Scooby lives alongside her litter mates and other dogs, giving her plenty of chances to build her social skills early on. She plays well with her brothers and sisters, tumbling and romping around together like the best of friends. She also gets to grow up around children, which means she's learning what it's like to be part of a busy, loving household from the very start. All of that early exposure is helping shape her into a well-rounded pup who's comfortable with dogs and kids alike. Scooby is still writing her own story, and she's looking for the perfect co-star to help her fill the next chapters with adventures, belly rubs, and plenty of playtime. She's the kind of puppy who makes you smile just by being nearby, with a personality as big as her heart. If you're ready to be the supporting character in Scooby's story (though let's be honest, she'll make you feel like the main character too), reach out today and start your adventure together! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6ab52e000b70d7f9850378e2 Questions? Winston Loyal Little Love is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix with a gentle personality and a quiet, affectionate nature. He can be shy when meeting new people, but once he gets comfortable, he has shown that he can become a very devoted companion. Winston enjoys a calm approach and does best when he has a little time to settle into new surroundings. As he relaxes, more of his sweet personality begins to show. One of Winston’s favorite things is being outside. He loves soaking up the sunshine and spending time in the fresh air, and he does a great job on leash. Walks and outdoor time could easily become a favorite part of his routine with his future family. Winston would be a great match for someone looking for a quieter dog who forms strong bonds and enjoys simple things like sunny days, peaceful walks, and being close to the people he knows well. Shelly Loo has the confidence of a dog three times her size and absolutely none of the hesitation. She marches into new situations like she's been invited, assumes everyone is delighted to see her, and immediately starts looking for something fun to do. Usually that something involves toys. Estimated to be around 4 years old, weighing 20 pounds, and looking very much like a Chihuahua mix, but of course- Shelly Loo is a rescue, so breed and age are simply our best guess. Guaranteed is that she is a confident, entertaining little character with a playful streak, plenty of personality, and a serious appreciation for attention from her people. Go watch Shelly Loo Who on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this spunky little lady. https://youtu.be/wmOb1RpNHDc Shelly Loo loves people and has a knack for making herself part of whatever is happening. She handles busy enviornments with ease, happily soaks up attention from everyone she meets and all around makes a great companion whether at home or out in the world. She is also a true toy enthusiast, and can happily entertain herself with a toy to chase, toss, or proudly carry around. While Shelly enjoys meeting other dogs, she's not exactly looking for a committee to run her life. She's a confident girl who prefers thoughtful introductions and tends to do best with larger, confident dogs that won't be bothered by her bossy moments. She's not looking to be the welcome crew of the dog park. Think more "neighborhood mayor" than "life of the party." Shelly would love a home that can keep her active with daily walks, toys, and plenty of opportunities to spend time with her people. She is a blast with kids and from everything we have seen she has all the makings of a fun little companion for a family that appreciates a dog with personality. Shelly Loo’s one no-need is cats. When she met our house cat it was clear that she would thoroughly enjoy chasing a cat- something we can all agree cats hate! So for everyones sake, a cat-free home is best for her. If you're looking for a small dog with confidence, charm, and enough character to keep life interesting, Shelly Loo is ready to march straight into your heart. He may not be the first dog to run up and demand attention, but Winston has the kind of personality that becomes more special the more you get to know him.
