Cooper is a silly, outgoing guy who loves meeting new people and making sure he’s the CENTER of attention. Why blend in when you were clearly born to be the main character?! 😂 This extra-huggable boy loves soaking up affection and would happily accept all the pets, cuddles, and attention you’re willing to give. Cooper came to us as a surrender from California, with no information provided about why he was originally surrendered. Since being in our care, we’ve learned a little more about what he needs to be successful in a home. Cooper would do best as the only dog, where he can enjoy being the star of the show without having to share his people, space, or snacks with another furry roommate. ❤️ Cooper has shown some food-related guarding behaviors, so he’ll need a family who understands the importance of giving him space while he eats and is willing to work with him on building positive habits around food. Because of this, we believe an adult-only home would be the best fit for him. He isn't a bad dog; he just needs a home that understands his needs, respects his boundaries around food, and sets him up for success! Cooper is ready to clock out of shelter life and start his new career as your full-time cuddle buddy, personal comedian, and resident attention seeker. 😂💕 He’s got plenty of love to give, a goofy personality that’ll keep you smiling, and absolutely NO interest in being anything less than your favorite guy. Think you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for this silly boy? Cooper is ready to meet you! 🐾
