Story
These adorable Chihuahua puppies have captured the hearts of many since they came into this world during the Christmas season of 2023. It breaks our hearts to think that these innocent little beings have experienced such a distressing event at such a young age. However, despite the challenges they have faced, they continue to exude a sweetness and playfulness that is truly heartwarming. As they grow, these puppies are diligently working on their potty training, a crucial step in becoming well-behaved and house-trained companions. Like any other puppies, they possess an abundance of energy and engage in playful antics that never fail to bring a smile to our faces. But what truly sets them apart is their capacity to love unconditionally, a trait that is inherent in their nature. Despite their tender age, these puppies are already displaying a remarkable ability to adapt and coexist harmoniously with other animals, such as cats and dogs, as well as with children. This is a testament to their incredible intelligence and willingness to learn. In addition, it is worth mentioning that their mother is under 10lbs, which gives an indication of their potential size as they mature. If you are interested in welcoming one of these precious puppies into your home, we are delighted to offer transport services from Houston to the East Coast and Pacific Northwest every two weeks. This demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that these little ones find a loving and secure environment in which to thrive. The next available date for transportation is on 3/9, once they have completed their puppy shot series, ensuring their health and well-being. For more information on the adoption process and to submit an application, we kindly invite you to visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org.We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance.  If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.   Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   ##1961492##

Story
Chase is a hilarious and energetic ChiBull mutt of some sort with an estimated birthdate of 12/13/2022. He came to the Mission during a medical crisis in which his family had run out of funds and options to care for him. If it's a disaster, it's probably happened to poor Chase in his first 10 months of life. He has had his leg broken, suffers from a neurological wobble of unknown origin, and barely scraped by when we received him and treated him for a very severe respiratory infection and pneumonia. Chase is also extremely unsocialized, having clearly missed the mark on experiencing the world through positive and predictable interactions with the stimulus around him and he can be very fearful when encountering new things.  Chase will be the kind of dog who needs a dedicated adopter who is not a push over and can set a clear path to success for him when it comes to socializing. There should be very little tolerance for reactivity and disproportionate responses to things that are not worth being afraid of, and there should be ample praise and reward for calmness and reasonable responses to the sights and sounds of the world.  At this time Chase still wobbles when he walks, and although we don't know the origin of the instability, we have seen remarkable improvement and expect he will maintain or continue to improve, however without a clear diagnosis, there is a possibility that future degeneration in stability is possible.  Chase has great potential as a companion in a quiet home or with someone who like a mild degree of adventure. He would be a good road trip and travel buddy, but he would also be satisfied to be a home body and just be your constant friend while the years pass by. Loyalty is hard to come by these days, but Chase is willing to be your reminder that there's still plenty to find when you look in the right places.  Chase comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $300 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating, a leash, collar, and ID tag. To be considered to adopt Chase, please visit www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy! ##1824775##
