Meet Miley! Miley is a sweet and adorable 4-year-old Dachshund mix with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She absolutely adores people and gets along well with other dogs. She’s still learning what it means to be part of a fully loving family, so she’ll do best with patient humans who are willing to help her build confidence and show her how good life can be. Miley does wonderfully in a crate — she’s quiet and sleeps comfortably as long as her people are nearby. When left alone, she may bark a bit, but she’s making progress as she settles in. She’s also working on potty training and truly trying her best. She’s gentle with both people and dogs, but don’t be fooled — Miley loves to have fun! She enjoys walks and does great on leash. She does have a prey drive, so a home without cats (or with very cat-savvy owners) would be best. Miley is a loving, playful girl who just needs the right family to help her continue to blossom. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s sure to thrive. Maya is friendly happy gal who can been seen charging her solar powered tail wagger on sunny days or curled up in a blanket when the weather calls for it. She’s a young dog, around 1 year old with a long life of love and fun to offer. Up for an adventure or play time with a friend but also has great chill and will happily cuddle for movie night. She has a beautiful little face that looks at her people with adoring eyes. On the smaller side at 17 pounds she still fits on the recliner with you but is durable enough for adventures.
