Hitch was picked up by Animal Control after a kind neighbor called for a “pick up!” The neighbor had watched this little guy wander the area for a day or two and decided it would be best for him to be in the safety of the shelter rather than on his own looking for food and shelter. Hitch waited his allotted time at the shelter and was never claimed. The shelter got him ready for adoption by giving him all of his vaccinations, they tested him for heartworms and he was negative, they gave him a microchip, and they had him neutered. Hitch is a three-year-old Pomeranian mix that weighs about seventeen pounds. This little guy would be a great companion for an older person who wants some company!
