He needs someone patient, with plenty of time to dedicate just to him, to show him that life can be full of love and attention. He’s young, energetic, and has so much potential. She didn’t have the easiest start in life—she came from a home where she wasn’t socialized and had to share scraps of food with other dogs. With no shelter or bedding, she learned to be pretty independent. Even her former owners couldn’t catch her when she came to us!Now, Honey is thriving and full of playful energy. She loves to bounce around, but when bedtime comes, she’s a total snuggle bug! Honey likes to be right next to her person, belly up and completely adorable. She can get a little possessive of her bedtime spot with other pups, but she’s just a girl who knows what she loves—a cozy cuddle and all your heart!

Princess came to us from PACC (Pima Animal Care) along with her 2 housemates after their owner no longer had housing. She is pretty shy and uncertain in new situations but warms up quickly with her caregivers and is friendly with both men and women (children unknown but she is mild tempered). She has been ok with other dogs in the past (does seem more dominant) but would really prefer to be the only dog in the home. She walks pretty well on a leash but could use a little more work. She uses the dog door and has been accident free almost from the beginning. She does ok in a crate but also has nice house manners. Princess has no health concerns based on her exam and bloodwork. She is estimated as 7 years old and is about 33 lbs but could stand to lose a few. She is beautiful and so soft and behaved well with the groomer (and the foster for pre groom cleanup!) Princess is fostering in N Phoenix!! If you would be interested in this pretty lady and have no other pets please submit an application.
