Story
Foster Notes: Brownie needs a home with a YARD! She`s hellfire reborn - racing about, constantly underfoot, and having a blast. She is very active. She bonded to foster dog Cooper of all things. They tear through the yard and house at a million miles an hour. Brownie would be very unhappy without other pets and a sedate lifestyle.

Story
MARCO is a 12 lb 3 year old spaniel/papillon mix. PERSONALITY: MARCO is a sweet boy who takes his time testing your suitability to be worthy of his affection. After, he makes his decision, he is almost perfect. He seems well housetrained, but we rarely guarantee that. HEALTH: MARCO has been vet checked, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FYI: Rorescue dogs are NOT perfect. We rescue the dogs the throw away dogs that nobody wants for various reasons. Then we work to get them to the point that they are adoptable. We strive to share all information that we gather with the adopter. We can, honestly, state that we NEVER guarantee perfect potty habits. At RoRescue, we strive to match the dog's personality to the best possible future home. This, in no way, casts judgement on the potential adopter. Our primary concern is the dog's future safety, health and happiness. ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots. We do NOT adopt to: * adopters who intend for the dog to live outside. * out-of area or out of state locations. * homes where someone smokes cigarettes, vape or smoke prescribed or non-prescribed substances inside

Story
Foster Update: He’s still a bit skittish and making slow progress, but deep down, he wants love. He enjoys pets and shows interest in play—he’s just not sure how to do it with people yet. He gently takes food from your hand and is great with other dogs, but he’s still learning to trust humans. He needs someone patient, with plenty of time to dedicate just to him, to show him that life can be full of love and attention. He’s young, energetic, and has so much potential. To the person who earns his trust, you’ll mean the world to him!

Story
$150.00 adoption fee for the month of December! Honey has been in foster care for over two years! Lets help her find her forever home!Sweet little Honey has come such a long way! She didn’t have the easiest start in life—she came from a home where she wasn’t socialized and had to share scraps of food with other dogs. With no shelter or bedding, she learned to be pretty independent. Even her former owners couldn’t catch her when she came to us!Now, Honey is thriving and full of playful energy. She loves to bounce around, but when bedtime comes, she’s a total snuggle bug! Honey likes to be right next to her person, belly up and completely adorable. She can get a little possessive of her bedtime spot with other pups, but she’s just a girl who knows what she loves—a cozy cuddle and all your heart!

Story
PATCHES was spayed 11/28/18 at Servicios Medicos Veterinarios, Sonora, Dr. Martin Figueroa DVM.PATCHES has been diagnosed with `Masticatory Muscle Myositis` (also called Eosinophilic Myositis), an autoimmune disorder that causes the muscles in her jaw to freeze up. She currently can open her mouth only about 3/8 inch wide, and is getting a diet of special soft food. This is not surgically treatable. This condition requires long term medical care, and probably cannot be cured. Patches is now on prednisone and antibiotics. UPDATE: ` PATCHES` myositis is currently stable, she is not on medication at this time. She has been on numerous protocols of steroids and antibiotics without significant improvement. If the myositis continues to be stable, she may have a normal life span. If her condition deteriorates she will require additional medical care, including medications, and that could impact her longevity. There is no further cure or surgical procedure available at this time. She has been seen by 4 vet clinics, including the most qualified specialists in Arizona.PATCHES is available for adoption as a Special Needs dog, shown by appointment only to avoid stress of adoption site. (Adoption application in advance required).
