Story
Adopt Bibi   Bibi is a sweet little Pom mix who survived a city shelter euthanasia list and is now waiting for a loving forever home. She may be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, her affectionate and loyal personality truly shines.   Name: Bibi Age: 6 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Pomeranian Mix Color: Black/Brown Weight: 6.2 kg Height: 31 cm   Rescue Story Bibi was rescued from a city shelter before euthanasia.   Personality & Socialization with People Bibi can be slightly shy when meeting new people, but treats quickly help her warm up. Once comfortable, she allows handling easily and becomes very attached to the person caring for her. She enjoys following her trusted people around and has a gentle, affectionate nature. She can be picked up comfortably with arms under her belly, and once bonded, she will even show her tummy. She has not yet been tested with children under 13 years old.   With Other Dogs Bibi politely greets unfamiliar dogs but prefers spending time on her own rather than actively playing. She tends to feel uncomfortable around large dogs or very high-energy, pushy dogs and usually chooses to avoid them.   With Cats When she sees cats during walks, she stays focused on her handler rather than reacting strongly.   Energy Level & Walks During walks with unfamiliar people, Bibi tends to move slowly and focus on sniffing. However, once she bonds with someone, she becomes much more cheerful and enjoys walks happily. After settling in, she walks very well.   Other Notes • No food guarding toward people or dogs • Quiet and calm personality • No separation anxiety observed • Calm inside a kennel/crate • Nervous about getting into cars and prefers being carried in • Currently uses both pee pads indoors and potty outdoors   Bibi would do best in a calm and patient home that can give her time to build trust and confidence at her own pace. Once she opens her heart, she becomes a truly loving companion. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook and Instagram! Story
**Note: Currently, Juhee is in Korea, but upon adoption she will arrive in Vancouver. For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please click here.BackgroundJuhee was rescued from a puppy mill in Boryeong, Korea in the summer of 2023. After her rescue, she stayed at a local shelter before moving to our partner boarding house. Since then, she has been living quietly alongside other dogs, slowly discovering what a safe and loving life feels like.Personality and SocializationJuhee has a moderate energy level and a soft, gentle personality. She is a sweet and easygoing girl who is a pleasure to be around. She approaches both people and other dogs in a calm and friendly way. Juhee enjoys affection and loves being close to her people, often choosing to stay nearby and share quiet moments together.Around other dogs, Juhee is polite and respectful. She gets along well with others and enjoys their company. While she is not the type of dog who actively seeks out play, she is comfortable simply spending time alongside them. She prefers calm companions and is not a fan of overly vocal or dominant dogs. She has no experience with cats or young children, but with a proper and slow introduction, she will likely adjust well.BehaviourJuhee does not show signs of separation anxiety. She is calm and cooperative during vet visits, walks nicely on leash, and behaves well during bath time. She also travels quietly in the car. She is trained to use pee pads and also does well with outdoor potty. Juhee is not vocal and has a relaxed, easy nature. She may feel a little nervous in a new environment at first, but settles in as she becomes more comfortable.Health and DietJuhee is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on regular parasite prevention. She has a mild tracheal collapse (grade 1). She was on medication for two weeks, and her coughing has now stopped. She may need medication again, or she may continue to do well without it. Sudden changes in environment, stress, and weight gain can contribute to this condition. In any case, her future family should be aware of this condition and be committed to providing her with the care she may need. Juhee currently eats kibble. She is healthy and ready for her forever home.Ideal HomeJuhee is a gentle and adaptable girl who does not ask for much. She would do well in many types of homes. What matters most is a family who can spend time with her and not leave her alone for long periods. She is a loving, snuggly companion who enjoys being close to her people. Juhee has so much quiet love to give, and the family who welcomes her will be gaining a deeply devoted and gentle friend.**Note: Currently, Juhee is in Korea, but upon adoption she will arrive in Vancouver. For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please click here.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Ruki🌟 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm negative and dental scaling completed. * Due to consistent treatment, Ruki has completely recovered from his skin disease and the darkened skin has become pink again. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Ruki (a puppy of #AdogsMiso) was rescued from a hoarder’s home in Gimje, and was transferred to the Gimje City Shelter. Ruki already had a skin disease and wasn’t able to get proper treatment at the shelter. So Adogs rescued him before it became worse. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a young puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. ❗️Since puppies grow very rapidly until they are 10 months old, their current appearance may differ slightly from the photos. * With People: Is shy with new people and isn’t comfortable with human touch yet, so he must be cornered before he can be petted. However, he accepts it nicely once you actually touch him although he still needs more time to become comfortable with it since he’s timid. Lives and moves around comfortably around familiar people. Has overcome his fear of hands and sniffs hands if they come near his nose. * With Dogs: Gets along well with no issues with other dogs whom he lives with at our center. * With Cats: Unknown because he hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stayed calm when he was left alone at the foster home. * Potty Training: Is a smart cookie who is fully indoor-potty trained. Has an occasional accident on cushions when he gets scared or startled. * Hygiene: Does well with baths. * Walks: Unknown because he hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a bit of motion sickness so care is needed. * Nipping: Usually doesn't bite, but since he is very fearful, he may nip defensively depending on the situation. Care and patience are required. * Barking: Might whimper if you try to hug him against his will. Also, tends to "cry" or whine to let you know when he has had a bowel movement and need it cleaned up. * Likes: Likes treats but the vet suggested to cut back on them. So he’s only being fed a small amount. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him forcibly. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet. If you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟Meet Bamtori🤎💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_everyday1.) Health Condition Neutered. Microchipped, and heartworm negative. Diagnosed with stage 3 heart disease and needs regular medication. Doesn’t require any special care except consistent medication and preventing him from being worked up. Has grade 3 patellar luxation, so he should be prevented from jumping high or running too fast.2.) Rescue Story Bamtori was living along with Boksunga(Adogs' dog) as neglected dogs under unsanitary conditions at a narrow alley in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu. After a long process of persuasion, Adogs team obtained a relinquishment agreement from their owner and safely rescued both dogs.3.) Basic Information With People: Loves people — even strangers! Easily trusts familiar people and seeks comfort from them. Is a sweet, loving little dog who enjoys being petted and loves to climb into people’s laps for cuddles. With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Has a calm personality and enjoys spending time alone, but also likes to play excitedly with his close friends. With Cats: Coexisted peacefully with cats at our Center. Separation Anxiety: Unclear, as it hasn’t been long since he moved to his foster home. Did well alone at the Center. Potty Training: Used potty pads indoors at the Center, but more monitoring is required since it hasn’t been long since he moved to his foster home. Hygiene: Generally tolerates being handled and groomed quite well. Car Sickness: Relaxes comfortably and rests well during car rides. Biting: Doesn’t bite at all — is a gentle and calm boy. Barking: Sometimes barks, but it’s not loud or bothersome. Like: Likes playing with toys. Dislike: If a smaller dog approaches and steals your attention, he might give that dog a little jealous scolding.* Personality: Is calm and doesn’t have high energy levels, but becomes playful with close friends. Likes pretty much everyone and has a lot of love to give.
