Meet Maple, a 4-5-year-old spayed female Pomeranian with a stunning white coat and a charming personality to match. Weighing in at 4kg, this little gem was sadly abandoned despite being freshly groomed, and now she’s looking for her forever home.
Maple adores people and is a social butterfly! Whether it’s her favorite human or someone she’s just met, she’s quick to nuzzle up, enjoy pets, and even show her belly right away. She hasn’t had the chance to meet children under 13, but her friendly nature shines in all her interactions. She’s comfortable being picked up and carried, making her a cuddler’s dream.
When it comes to other dogs, Maple is more of a solo act. She’s fine if they ignore her, but if they show too much interest, she’s not shy about expressing her displeasure. She may even try to pick a fight if provoked or approached while being held. Maple’s jealousy can get the best of her, so she’d thrive as the only pet in the home, soaking up all the love for herself.
Interestingly, Maple seems unbothered by cats during walks, preferring to focus on her human instead. She’s also a mix of energy levels: calm and content lounging at home but absolutely thrilled to go out for walks or playtime. On walks, she might pull a bit, but she stays attentive to her human’s lead.
Maple doesn’t guard food from people, but she’ll let other dogs know to back off when she’s eating. She’s a vocal communicator and isn’t afraid to bark when she wants something, so potential adopters should be prepared for some chatty moments. She also gets a bit whiny in her crate, but her affectionate and loving nature more than makes up for it. She’s versatile with her potty habits, using both indoor pads and outdoor spaces.
Maple’s personality is as sweet as her name, but her feisty side with other dogs means she’s best suited to be the one and only pet in a loving home. If you’re looking for a snuggly, loyal companion with a bit of sass, Maple might just be your perfect match!
