Story
**Note: Currently, she is in Korea, but will fly to Vancouver upon adoption. Background Haemi was rescued last year from a puppy mill, where she had been used as a grooming practice dog for students. After her rescue, she stayed at a local shelter and this winter, she came into our care. Haemi has been living peacefully with other dogs at our partner boarding house since then. Personality and Socialization Haemi has a medium energy level and a very sweet and gentle spirit. Haemi is a very lovely and friendly girl. She is gentle and well mannered, and she has been wonderful with everyone she meets, both people and dogs. She is affectionate and loves cuddling. She is not shy around strangers and is very sociable. Behaviour Haemi has shown no signs of separation anxiety. She behaves well during vet visits and walks nicely on leash. She is patient during bath time and car ride. She is trained to use pee pads and has shown no destructive behaviors. She does not bark excessively and has been very easygoing. Health and Diet Haemi is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. She is healthy and ready for her forever home. She eats kibble and is doing well on her current diet. Ideal Home Haemi is a gentle, loving, quiet girl looking for a calm and relaxing home. She would do best with someone who is home often and enjoys a peaceful lifestyle. An experienced and patient adopter would be a wonderful match. With kindness and time, Haemi will reward her forever family with quiet companionship and a soft presence that truly makes a house feel like home. ------------------------------------ For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/haemi-2/

Good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Bori is a mature, gentle girl who spent a long time in a shelter before being rescued. She is the kind of dog whose presence is so quiet that you might not even notice she’s there— soft, calm, and unobtrusive. She rarely barks and enjoys simply staying close to her person. From the very first moment you meet her, she’s the kind of dog who makes you think, “I just want to hold her.” Bori’s personality is pure gentleness. She is calm, well-mannered, and never disruptive to the atmosphere of a home. She stays quietly by your side, which somehow makes you care for her even more, with a tender feeling in your heart. One important note: Bori tends to chase cats, so a home without cats would be best for her. In a new environment, she may have a few potty accidents at first due to nervousness. With a little time and patience, she will adjust and gradually settle in. Bori doesn’t ask for much. A quiet space, a patient person, and a family willing to spend calm, unhurried time together is all she needs. She isn’t overly affectionate or demanding, but just having her nearby is comforting in itself. That’s the kind of dog Bori is. She is no longer looking to be alone— she is waiting for a family who will stay quietly by her side, just as she will for them. 🐾🤍

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Ruki🌟 💙 Ruki’s Foster Account: @rookie_adogs 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm negative and dental scaling completed. * Due to consistent treatment, Ruki has completely recovered from his skin condition and the darkened skin has become pink again. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Ruki (a puppy of #AdogsMiso) was rescued from a hoarder’s home in Gimje, and had been transferred to the Gimje City Shelter. Ruki already had a skin condition and wasn’t able to get proper treatment at the shelter, so Adogs rescued him before it became worse. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a young puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is shy with new people and isn’t comfortable with human touch yet, so he must be cornered before he can be petted. However, he accepts it nicely once you actually touch him although he still needs more time to become comfortable with it since he’s timid. Lives and moves around comfortably around familiar people. Has overcome his fear of hands and he will he sniffs hands if they come near his nose. * With Dogs: Got along with no issues with other dogs when he lived at our center. Hasn’t met new friends yet after moving to his foster home, so checking is needed. * With Cats: Unknown because he hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stays alone well. * Potty Training: Was previously excellent with pottying indoors using potty pads, but after a visit to the vet, he has started having accidents on cushions when scared, whining to have it cleaned up. Is being slowly retrained. * Hygiene: Does well with baths. * Walks: Hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a bit of motion sickness so care is needed. * Is a kind dog that’s never bitten. * Whines if he’s forcibly held. If he has a potty accident, he whines as if asking to have it cleaned up. * Likes treats but the vet suggested to cut back on them, so he’s only being fed a few treats. * Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet. If you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer. * Has started crate training, but there hasn’t been much progress yet.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Bamtori🤎 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition • Neutered • Others: Microchipped, and heartworm negative. • Diagnosed with stage 3 heart disease — currently on medication and a prescription diet; constant medical care is required. • Has grade 3 patellar luxation, so he should be prevented from jumping high or running too fast. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Bamtori was living along with #AdogsBoksunga as neglected dogs under unsanitary condition at a narrow alley in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu. After a long process of persuasion, Adogs team obtained a relinquishment agreement from their owner and safely rescued both dogs. Thankfully, Boksunga has been adopted and is living a new life, and Bamtori has regained his health with proper medical treatment and care after the rescue. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics • With People: Loves people — even strangers! Is very friendly and affectionate right away. Easily trusts familiar people and seeks comfort from them. Is a sweet, loving little dog who enjoys being petted and loves to climb into people’s laps for cuddles. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Used to enjoy running and playing with his best friend #AdogsJoseph, who has since been adopted. Is very calm and enjoys her alone time. • With Cats: Lived peacefully with cats at the center. • Separation Anxiety: Since he lives in a group setting at the center, it’s hard to assess precisely. However, seems to do well even when people are not around. • House Training: Currently stays indoors at the center and uses pee pads well. • Grooming: Generally tolerates being handled and groomed quite well. • Car Rides: Relaxes comfortably and rests well during car rides. • Biting: Doesn’t bite at all — is a gentle and calm boy. • Barking: Barks occasionally, which is soft and not bothersome. • Likes: Is a people-loving, friendly dog who greets everyone warmly! • Dislikes: Sometimes gets jealous when others receive attention, due to his affection to people. If someone he likes pets a smaller dog, he might give that dog a little jealous scolding.
