These two sweet girls have been through so much. They first lost their mom, and now their dad can no longer care for them. They came from a loving family where they were cherished and well cared for, and they truly deserve to find that love again. Maggie (7-year-old Pomeranian- 12.34LBS) & Iris (12-year-old Shitzu- 10.5LBS) are a sweet senior pair looking for a calm, loving home to call their own. Maggie is the more outgoing of the two friendly, curious, and full of personality! She loves other small dogs and enjoys playing and exploring. Both girls would thrive in a home rather than a condo, where they have more space to play and relax. Ideally, their new parents would be retired or home often, so they can enjoy plenty of love, companionship, and attention every day. Iris is the quieter, more reserved one. She takes her time to warm up and prefers cozy spots like her dog bed or under the furniture where she feels safe. Once she trusts you, she enjoys gentle company and a peaceful routine. Both girls are friendly with other dogs and recently had dental cleanings — they’re healthy and ready for their next chapter! They’re both sweet, easygoing companions who will thrive in a patient, understanding home. Fully vaccinated/spayed as well. Their adoption fee is $600 for both.

Hello wonderful humans! My name is Kip, and I'm a 5-year-old Pomeranian mix boy weighing in at a perfect 12 pounds of pure love. I've been told I'm quite the charmer…from the moment we meet, consider yourself my new favorite person in the whole wide world! When visitors come to my foster home, I give them the full Kip welcome package: tail wagging so fast it could power a small city, happy dances, and my very best "I'm-so-glad-you're-here" face. I love being with my humans so much that I prefer to not have to share them with any other fur kids so I am looking for a home where I can be the one and ONLY prince! I am not so sure about little humans either so best to say older, dog savvy kids only. Foster mom says I'm kind of her furry shadow. Wherever she goes, there I am, looking up with hopeful eyes that say, "Pets, please?" And when I really want to seal the deal, I'll roll right over to offer my belly—it's my absolute favorite spot for scratches! Sometimes I even "talk" a little when I'm feeling especially chatty or want your attention. While I enjoy a good game of fetch and have my favorite toys, I'll be honest—I'm in it for the love. Sure, I'll chase the ball, but then I'm racing right back for more attention from you. After zooming around the yard, I'll trot right back for some quality petting time. Want to make me the happiest pup around? Just tell me I'm a "good boy." Those magic words make my whole body wiggle with joy! I'm also quite the gentleman on leash walks, and love to get out and meet the neighbors — the two legged and four legged kind. At bedtime, I'm flexible! I love snuggling in bed, but sometimes I enjoy my space underneath it too. It's like having my own little cave—the best of both worlds! I'm still working on perfecting my house manners, but I'm nearly there! A patient friend who can help me with the final touches would be wonderful. Took months for ivory to be fully recovered , ivory had her two knees surgically repaired , is spayed , has all vaccines up to date , had a dental cleaning and is ready for her forever loving home . Loves other dogs and humans , A retired family will be ideal , no small kids in the house and experience with small breeds is required . Application must be filed at maxsarkrescue.org
