You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Meet Shadow!Shadow came to PRBJ when his family due to changing circumstances no longer had the time to care for him.  He is a sweet boy that is good with people but does like it better when people allow him to check them out first.   He does good with other dogs but can be shy for a moment before his playfulness shines through.    We know he is a Pomeranian but not exactly sure what else maybe a Shiba Inu is our best guess.  He is almost 27 pounds and needs to lose a few to help keep him healthy.  He is great on a leash so a person or family that enjoys strolls would be fantastic.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 23, 2026, 8:04 am

Maxi is 15 years old, he lost all his teeth. He is super friendly and quite, a little demanding with walks all the time. Maxi was ok, very well home-trained but after my brother and my nephew came to live with us, Maxi became to change his behaviors and became with some kidney problems, losing hair, teeth and coordination. He took all his medicamentos for but after all that and my family leave, Maxi became rebels. My wife cannot stand him anymore, she shower him, dry his hair and attend him and Maxi immediately poops in his bed and lies over. We do not have the time and energy to care, and like we needed to move to a little apartment, now he is living in a little closet. We lose the count of the times we needed to trash his bed to keep him and is in acceptable sanitation conditions. I think Max is not happy anymore and we do not know how to make him happy. After a car accident, my wife cannot work and our economy do not allow us to keep the dog.
