Hello wonderful humans! My name is Kip, and I'm a 6-year-old Pomeranian mix boy weighing in at a perfect 12 pounds of pure love. I've been told I'm quite the charmer…from the moment we meet, consider yourself my new favorite person in the whole wide worldl! When visitors come to my foster home, I give them the full Kip welcome package: tail wagging so fast it could power a small city, happy dances, and my very best "I'm-so-glad-you're-here" face. Foster mom says I'm kind of her furry shadow. Wherever she goes, there I am, looking up with hopeful eyes that say, "Pets, please?" And when I really want to seal the deal, I'll roll right over to offer my belly—it's my absolute favorite spot for scratches! Sometimes I even "talk" a little when I'm feeling especially chatty or want your attention. I’m housebroken (I do best on a regular potty schedule) and I’m getting along great with the doggies in my foster home. I would do ok with older (12 and up), dog-savvy kids. I don’t have an opinion on cats but I might like them. I enjoy a good game of fetch and Foster Mom says I am a king ball stealer! I have my favorite toys, but I must admit I'm in it for the love too. Sure, I'll chase the ball, but then I'm racing right back for more attention from you. After zooming around the yard, I'll trot right back for some quality petting time. At bedtime, I'm flexible! I love snuggling in bed, but sometimes I enjoy my space underneath it too. It's like having my own little cave—the best of both worlds! Want to make me the happiest pup around? Hi, my name is Missy, and I’m a beautiful 3-year-old Pomeranian with a fluffy white coat, a sweet face, and a heart that is finally ready to know what it feels like to be truly loved. 🐾🤍 My journey brought me to Max’s Ark Rescue after being rescued from a breeder. For a long time, my life was very different from the one I dream about now. I was part of a breeding world, where there wasn’t much opportunity to simply be a dog—to play, to cuddle, to feel safe, or to have someone call me their baby. But that chapter is over. Now I’m discovering all the little things that make life wonderful. A soft bed. A gentle voice. A warm lap. Someone who tells me I’m a good girl just because I exist. And oh, how I love knowing that I am finally safe. ❤️ I weigh about 11 pounds, and I’m a happy little girl who gets along with dogs and cats. I’m also spayed and up to date on my vaccinations, so I’m ready to start looking for my forever home. I’m looking for an experienced adopter who understands that dogs like me may need patience and reassurance as we learn what life outside a breeder’s world is really like. I may need a little time to discover my confidence and understand that I don’t have to worry anymore. 💕 Sally’s Story — Finally, My Turn Hi, I’m Sally, a 4-year-old Pomeranian weighing about 10 pounds. I’m a sweet little girl with a beautiful white coat, and I’m ready for the part of my life I’ve been waiting for. 🐾❤️ For the first four years of my life, I was a breeder’s dog, and my job was to have puppies. I never really got to experience what it was like to be someone’s cherished companion—to have a family who loved me simply because I was me. When the breeder went out of business, my life changed. I was rescued and brought to Max’s Ark, and for the first time, I began learning that life can be about so much more than having babies. Now it’s my turn. ❤️ I’m a little shy and I need an experienced adopter who understands that dogs coming from breeding situations may need time, patience, and reassurance while they learn how to be a beloved family pet. But I have a lot going for me! I’m good with dogs and good with cats, and I’m ready to keep learning. I’m spayed, current on my vaccinations, and looking forward to discovering all the simple joys I’ve missed—soft beds, walks, toys, treats, sunshine, and most importantly, having people of my very own. We acquired Kona from a woman whose mother passed leaving 3 pomeranians. We took posession of her 3 months ago. She was traumatized at the time. She is 2-3 years old. We got all her shots since there were no records and had her spayed. We planned to keep her if all worked out. She bonded with me quickly but does not like my husband or any man that enters my house. She is fine with other dogs but I think she would love being an only pet. Kona would shine if she was in a home with a woman who wants a loving companion. She loves walks but is also content to just lay quietly beside you. She is housebroken. She is allergic to chicken but loves turkey, lamb, and salmon. I hope someone will open her heart to this beautiful girl.
