Hobbes is waiting for someone to see the value in an old soul. Hobbes’ story is one that breaks our hearts. This sweet senior gentleman was abandoned at a local business, left behind through no fault of his own. Estimated to be 12–14 years old, Hobbes has spent his life giving love and companionship, and now he finds himself needing someone to give that same love back to him. His foster Mom says he is a loving dog that loves to cuddle in a blanket and nap.  He is good with other dog, cats and children.  Hobbes does likely have nerve damage in one of his rear legs, but it does not appear to cause him any pain. Despite his age and his disability, Hobbes still enjoys getting around, walking outside and exploring his surrounding. More than anything, Hobbes deserves a quiet place to spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and love.
