My name is NEEKO, and I am now in need of a fur ever NEW home. My mom 's health is not good, and she can no longer care for me. She contacted this nice lady who owns a rescue who told my mom she will help her to find me a new fur ever home to live at. I am a POMSKY. THats a Pomeranian and husky mix. I know it sounds funny. I am all white. My mom said that is a pretty color. I am 6 years old, neutered and up to date on my vetting. I am housebroken. I don't like a crate, so my mom never puts me in one. I free roam the house and don't get into anything. WE don't have a fence in yard, so I usually am on a tie out. It would be really nice to have a fence in yard so I can just wonder around and take it easy and be safe. I walk well on a leash. I love to go for car rides. I have been around other animals. I love to play. I have also been around children of different ages. My mom wants nothing more than to place me in a new fur ever home. Story
Sharkey! This guy is a very special pet! The name Sharkey is somewhat descriptive, as "Sharkey" can be a little bit "spicey". He will warm up to his person, and he will allow petting but will be a guy who needs to be handled with care. Sharkey has an unfortunate story of prior life, He was an "outdoor" dog, who came to rescue in poor shape. He had a skin condition that needed attention and was complicated by his matted fur. His dedicated foster mom took in Sharkey and got through his mats, gave him prescribed meds for his skin condition and got him on healthy foods to turn him around completely. He is happy to go outdoors, he eats a healthy diet and will sleep in an exercise pen or larger kennel. He will go in and out with a little direction, and a secure fenced area is a must. Sharkey is happy to go outdoors, but he's also VERY happy to come back in and settle on a soft bed or cushion. Sharkey will do well in a home where he is the only pet, or with one other calm and balanced pet. Sharkey's protective of his personal space. As long as there is an understanding of what is a comforting and welcoming environment for Sharkey, he will do well. Chihuahua Rescue is delighted to have taken in this pet and given him a chance of a loving forever home. We are confident he will be someone's EVERYTHING if given a chance. Sharkey is not recommended to be in a home with children and should go to an adopter experienced in handling a special needs pet. Please inquire about this pet in need and be prepared to have a most grateful companion!
