Meet Poof. ☁️ Poof is a 3–4 year old Pomeranian mix who was found running down Gateway Rd right in front of the shelter — and surprisingly, no one ever came looking for him. Which is hard to believe, because this little guy is incredibly sweet and clearly seems like he’s been loved before. Poof is the kind of dog that instantly wants to be your friend. He’s affectionate, social, and absolutely thrives on attention from people. The second you sit down, he’s ready to crawl into your lap, lean into you for pets, or ask to be picked up and carried around. He really just wants to be wherever his person is. He’s been friendly with staff and visitors alike, and has also done well with other dogs here at the shelter. Now, fair warning… Poof does have opinions, and he’s not afraid to share them. 😂 This boy is vocal. He’ll happily announce when he wants attention, when he’s excited, or when he thinks he deserves to be held immediately. But underneath all the chatter is a loving little companion who just wants comfort, companionship, and someone to adore him back. If you’re looking for a tiny shadow with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Poof might just be your guy.
