Meet Izan! Izan is a 3 year old male Pomeranian. He is loving little guy, weighing just under 5 pounds! But don't let his little legs fool you, he is fast, agile and can jump pretty high for a little guy! He also loves to follow everyone around the house and yard to make sure he doesn't miss any excitement. When he gets tired he will try to jump up to lie next to you, and sometimes will want just to be a lap dog. He is working on being potty trained and knows what "go potty" means when he is outside. If he is taken out to potty often, he will learn quickly! Izan is a little intimated by big dogs so he would do best in a home with smaller dogs, or a calm big dog who is patient with the littles. Izan sleeps in the kennel when his foster family is not home and at night, and has had zero potty accidents in there! In the words of his 12 year old foster family member, "He's a pretty cool dog! Hi there! My name is Fink - I'm a 2 years and 10 months old ~5lb lavender parti male Pomeranian. I'm a retired breeding dog, so I'm still getting used to being in a home with my foster family. I tend to be a bit shy at first, but I'm doing well with warming up to all of the love my foster family has to give me! I still enjoy my alone time, but I love sitting on the couch with my foster humans and I prefer to sleep in a playpen next to their bed versus being alone. My likes include food, cuddles, and running around outside! I do well with other dogs - my foster parents believe a home with another dog would be best suited for me so that I can continue to learn from them and have a doggy friend! I do not like loud noises, especially fireworks and thunder! I will require a securely fenced yard to make sure I stay safe. Although my foster parents have not introduced me to any children, they believe I would be best suited in an adult-only environment, or a home with older children. I'm still working on my potty training, and I do not walk well yet on a leash, so I will be looking for pawrent(s) that will be patient with me and continue to work with me.
