Meet Foxy 🦊 Foxy’s story is one of quiet resilience. This petite, fluffy girl first came to us two years ago after retiring from life as a breeder. She was quickly adopted by a kindhearted woman who wanted to give her a second chance—but despite her best efforts, Foxy’s deep-seated anxiety made life difficult for them both. Foxy spent much of the last two years hiding in back bedrooms, closets, and under furniture, too overwhelmed to truly relax or engage. Back with us now, we’re seeing glimpses of the dog Foxy could be with the right kind of support. She isn’t destructive or aggressive—just timid and unsure. She’s done well using potty pads in our care and has started showing a little curiosity about the world around her. With time and structure, we believe Foxy will continue to grow in confidence. What Foxy needs most is an understanding home—someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her move at her own pace. She’ll need love, but also clear boundaries and a predictable routine to help her feel secure. A calm, confident dog companion may help her learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Foxy is a sweet, sensitive soul who just needs someone to believe in her—to give her the space and support she needs to come out of her shell and finally be the loving little companion we know she can be.
