Due to current flight availability, we are prioritizing applications from adopters who can pick up in Toronto or Calgary. Bongbong was reported as a stray and entered a municipal shelter, where he was later rescued in January 2026. Now safe and waiting, he’s ready to find a loving home of his own Personality & People Bongbong can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience, he warms up quickly. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes very affectionate and enjoys being touched and cuddled. He can be picked up easily and will even show his belly to those he trusts. He is good with children under 13 and thrives on human companionship — he’s truly a people-oriented little dog With Other Dogs Bongbong is not particularly interested in other dogs and prefers focusing on his humans. He may bark at smaller or more timid dogs to act “tough,” but he does not show aggressive behaviors such as biting. Around larger or more confident dogs, he tends to be submissive and keeps his distance. With Cats He has not been tested with cats yet, but testing can be arranged if needed.
